The ManBears of Manchester (England - UK) are inviting us to their upcoming Great British Bear Bash. This is their 11th annual run and it will be happening from May 1st thru the 5th. Is there back-room action? 'Yes', they state. Lots of sex? They say 'Hell, yeah!'. Dancing? 'Yep', they reply. And what about Bear, Fur and Fun? 'It goes without saying'.

If you need more convincing, check out these videos on YouTube from last year's Bear Bash - video #1 - video #2 - video #3. Also, a lot of the ManBears cute husky members are actors in the FurFun.tv videos. Maybe some of these guys will sign an autograph on a body part. I know I would ask.

It's just incredible the amount of people who make videos of themselves smoking... and the amount of Bears who make videos smoking... it seems like it's quite the turn on to see another man smoke... and me quitting smoking last year...

I could post a ton of links to a ton of guys but I'm just going to focus on one particular Bear. His nick is LthrMarlboroBear on YouTube. He posts very little about himself save that he is from the United Kingdom, and there are over a 100 videos of him smoking - sometimes they are closeup shots of him, sometimes he's far off... but he's always in full leather, from head to toe... and he doesn't say a thing, he just smokes. It's almost hypnotizing to watch him smoke. You start to feel like a feisty bottom and he's your leather DaddyBear master and you have this need to mouth off and say no to him, but then you feel bad for saying no to your leather DaddyBear master and you have this sudden urge that he needs to punish you, or you want to quickly get him an ashtray, or polish his boots...

Wow... do you see what the power of a strong silent DaddyBear has over another person? Go watch a couple of his videos and see what happens to you.

This isn't really Bear related but it's still interesting to watch. It kind of blurs the whole concept of what is straight and what is gay.

Here's a clip from a documentary about a bunch of young rudgy players who do a lot of drinking and bar hop. What's the most interesting is at the end of the clip, the guys watch themselves on a laptop monitor and none of them seem embarrassed about a single thing they did. Now if the Bears are anything like these rugby players, then I seriously gotta get my ass over to the UK some day (I found this link on Andrew Sullivan's The Daily Dish).

Time to make plans to visit this little area known as Bristol that's in the UK (here it is on Wiki) because you'll definitely want to be part of the Bristol Bear Fiesta. As they mention on their site, this year's is going to bigger and better than ever. They have more venues for you guys to choose from. And they also mention that tickets are going fast and there is a limited amount of space, so best make your plans quick since this event is taking place from June 1st thru the 3rd. Cheers...

Hey...! How come every time you come around, my London, London Bridge wanna go down like...

erm...

There's a British band of merry (hairy?) men known as BearHug who are based in London. They meet every Friday at the Kings Arm. Some other events include walks and movies (sounds actually romantic)... as well as bowling. Check out their other site ~ BowlingBears.com ~ 'cause if grabbing big heavy balls and swinging them about is your thing, then this is for you... and why does every single sport have some kind of sexual connotation to it...?

"Your Bear Force Needs You" the ManBears of UK poster reads; "Report for action at the 10th Great British Bear Bash". This is a 5 day event which takes place in Manchester, UK, hosted by the ManBears (those handsome lads that make great videos - click here for a ManBears search on PlanetBears). It runs from May 3rd thru the 7th.

I remember visiting Art By Andy's site a million years ago... or let's say I've been a fan of this UK artist's work for quite some time now. He constantly redoes his website in the most interesting of ways, and the most recent version of his webpage that's online now is no exception. Browse about and you'll see why Andy is such a well known artist within Bear culture. It's the newest Bear night in London and it's called Big in the City. They are planning on meeting up at the Mass Bar on December 22nd and they are also having a competition. The idea is for you to fill in one those faces for Bear, Chub, Chaser and Daddy. All the info is on their site, so go dry clean your John Travolta disco outfit and make your plans to boogie in the UK just before Xmas.
