It's been awhile since we mentioned the online magazine Beargi (
website -
articles) but that doesn't mean it's lost its flavour... this online rag has gotten better and better. It is the best virtual Bear magazine on the net by far and it's done by those really husky hairy men who make up the
Bears of Turkey. Check out the latest article and browse their

Ever wanted to go to Istanbul, Turkey? You have to admit that a lot of the men from Turkey are Bearish and very hot. Well if you ever plan to go, make sure to hook up with the Istanbul Bear Club (IBC). As they state, they are the 1st Bear Club in Istanbul.
From IBC: "Istanbul Bear Club organizes local and international Bear meetings, parties and events for Bears, Chubs, Cubs, and admirers to build communication between Turkish Bears, Kurdish Bears and Bears from all over the world. Istanbul bear club is a not-for-profit social organization".

When I get news submissions about cruises and I look out my window and (literally) see 3 feet of snow, I want to just pack my swimsuit and get on the nearest jet for the next Bear cruise. And when I find out it's from the Bear Voyage guys, I'm almost in tears because I know from experience just how superb this cruise is.
Ok so the cruise is in 10 months but why not make plans for it because on October 3rd '08 they are going to the Mediterranean. From Bear Voyage "the first all Bear cruise will depart from Athens Greece for a 7 day cruise of the Grecian Islands and Istanbul, Turkey. This cruise is limited to 450 Bears. This cruise is the 5th Bear Voyage. In the past the group has ranged from 300 to 500 bears and been a group on a large ship. This year will be the first time to charter a ship for an all Bear Cruise. There will be entertainment, parties and much, much more. Currently there are nearly 100 cabins sold. This will be the International event of the year".

One of my favourite online Bear magazines is Beargi. Now I have never been able to read a single word they wrote, and I can't even throw it in Google's translating thingie since the Turkish language is not available, but none of that matters because the ezine is just so beautifully crafted and interactive. And in each edition, there's pics of some really good looking men, and you must agree that the image of a beautiful Bear transcends any language barrier.
The list of credit of those who work on this magazine is impressive, and I do know that some of these guys are members of the Bears of Turkey, and one of them is the seriously cute Murat, aka HusBear (homepage - Bearwww profile). I know for a fact quite a few guys who have had an ecrush on HusBear, me being one of them. He's a very good reason for me to visit Istanbul.

Bears of Turkey. Yes the mag is in Turkish so yes I cannot read what's on the pages, but there's always a ton of eye candy. I spoke to the guys who do the mag and they said they just might translate it if there is enough interest. One of the beauties about the net is that... really... you don't have to read a thing... there's so many pretty pictures to click on... I bet you aren't even reading this.
Ok, some of you like to read. Reading is not a dying art and it'll never die. Thank God for words. However, when you haven't a clue what you're reading because you don't know the language, it is nice to look at the photos. And that's what I do every time I visit Beargi. Turkey has some of the hottest Bears in the world. Now that could easily be debatable but I still have fantasies of really nasty prison wardens like the one in Midnight Express - and they are some of the toughest men around (remember when Turkey banned YouTube). Anyhow, tough and beautiful are the men of Turkey so if you happen to be in Istanbul, Turkey on May 16th, there is a Bear Party at Tekyon, co-sponsored by the Bears of Turkey.

One of the sites I like visiting a lot is
Beargi, a Bear e-zine created by the
Bears of Turkey. Ok so I don't understand a word but I like looking at the pretty pictures (yes I am an adult). This
issue has some nice shots of some of the winners from the
International Bear Weekend contest. It also has other fun stuff and if you can read Turkish then your mind should be in Mecca while browsing thru Beargi. Also browse thru prior
