Awhile back (article) I mentioned that Dart (TubeBear profile), the webmaster for BearBound (TubeBear 'PRO' profile - articles), has opened his own site called Dart's Domain. Since then he has been working on doing quite a few podcasts.

Check out his blog section as he's been chatting with friends within the leather realm. I've just finished listening to Part I of his chat with Cub Dan. Now Dan is super cute and you can see him tied up in all kinds of interesting ways on BearBound, but click here to see some previews (and here from a prior article).

Robert Harmon aka JrBear of Bound in Ink (articles - TubeBear PRO profile) is informing us that his work will be displayed at an upcoming charity event for the Calcutta House. This will be taking place at The Bike Stop in Philadelphia, PA on April 17th. As well, Rob will be showing his new collection of drawings kick off this show. 20% of all the sales from the artists will be given to the Calcutta House.

The Bears on the Run (TubeBear PROprofile) tour was meant to take off tonight in Toronto, however the hairy husky musicians and comedians were stopped at the border. From their website: "Our apologies, Toronto, the Bears Of Toronto, and to anyone planning to come to the show at The Barn tonight. We were not allowed into Canada. We needed certain work permits and documentation that we didn't have, and they didn't let us pass the border. Lesson learned, and we will continue to move forward with the rest of the tour as scheduled. So, that being said, if you are in Toronto and were planning on coming to the show tonight, we would love to see your smiling faces at the show in Buffalo tomorrow night (April 10th). If you bought advance tickets, refunds will be issued ASAP. If you bought advance tickets and would like to attend the show in Buffalo, your ticket will be honored at Hallwalls tomorrow night".

I betcha a buck that anytime you turn on the tv and you see some fashion show going on, you just shake your head thinking what those poor models must go through while trying to maintain their 98 pounds of weight... and since we are all Bear lovers here, well there is never any eye-candy whatsoever at those fashion shows (save the occasional Bearish model designer who's extremely gay).

Ok now that I'm done with that overtly long intro - how about watching a Bear fashion show... one with extra husky Bears showing their stuff while strutting the runway? That's what you'll see if you download the latest American Bad Bear (ABB) podcast. Their show is called BearZero (TubeBear profile) and the ABB Bears who make this podcast do a great job because ~ and it's a video podcast as well, which is even more fun. To see their latest podcast, go here (give is awhile to download). In this show, they feature Bob aka BearBob1952 (TubeBear profile) from Project Big (TubeBear PRO profile) with a bunch of his friends who model his great wares. Go take a few minutes and watch it.

He's done several photo shoots for guys like BearBound and CyberBears, and he even had a minute of fame when his face showed up on Conan O'Brien (article here). Robert Harmon of Bound in Ink has been pretty busy since the last time we spoke about him (article here - TubeBear personal profile ~ PRO profile). Recently he did a show in Albany, NY for the Albany Bears and currently he is working on a 20-25 new piece for the upcoming art show in Philadelphia with the Liberty Bears and his exhibit will be taking place from April 17th thru the 19th. It's his 3rd year participating in this fundraiser.

Now  ~ head on over to The Complete Bear where they recently held an interview with Rob. Also, head on back to his site and on the main page you will see a time lapse video of Rob 'behind the scenes' of him inking a piece. And there is a new section which he added - it's called Goodies and you can download some fantastic desktop wallpapers, from 800x600 to 1600x1200 and you can even get iPhone wallpapers.

It's finally here and it's big. Actually, it's Project Big. We hinted about this new site back in November and we saw glimpses of life at the beginning of January, but now it's official they are up and running and their site is clean and easy surfing. This site is all about singlets, jocks, swimwear, shirts and caps ~ clothing with the huskier man in mind because the smallest size you can buy is XL. That's right, smallest is XL all the way to XXXL.

Project Big is a company run by Bears and some good looking Bears at that. One of the guys to talk to would be Bob aka BearBob1952 (check out his TubeBear profile as well as his PRO profile for Project Big). He's a seriously handsome young looking Daddy Bear who even modeled a few pieces for the site, so if you have any questions about their new site, he'd be the one to contact.

Friday signifies updates over at BearBound. There are 3 new photo sets, 2 new video clips as well as a graphic series updated once a month drawn by MancerBear (website - TubeBear profile). You will start to find some bound PlanetBears models in their galleries (so far MogwaiCub - gallery - as well as Sasha - gallery) so if you are into bondage, then you will see only their 'bound' photo sets. Right at this moment, EBMC (European Big Men's Convergence - TubeBear PRO profile) is in full swing in Brussels, Belgium and will be rocking right thru until November 5th. The event is hosted by the Girth & Mirth Belgium club and their website is the well known BiggerWorld.com (TubeBear PRO profile).

All that being said, I want to timewarp back when the internet was a relatively unknown entity, back to 1994, back when a 14.4k was the hottest thing on the market. BiggerWorld was online and was one of the 1st websites for big men on and their admirers (SoundChaser being another site - website - articles - TubeBear profile) and it's popularity grew up until they had to shut down a lot of their features, such as the free galleries (more Biggerworld history here). 

I remember back then when I was visiting their site and I came upon one of their section that consisted of a 3D virtual world. Back in '95 there was a place called Alpha World (now called Active Worlds (website - Wiki) in which you could build your own home in a virtual space. I marvelled at BiggerWorld's virtual space because I had never experienced anything quite like that. Only a bit later did I discover games like Doom and Quake, yet it was BiggerWorld that introduced me to 3D virtuality.

Philippe from G&M Belgium informed me that the virtual world he created was destroyed by the owners of Alpha World, and as he stated, it was "a lot of work reduced to nothing" yet he did save some screenshots which he sent us. Click here to see them.

Winter is slowly approaching and for someone like me who lives up north, that means a ton of snow is piling up and getting to be blown my way. So what does this make me want to do...? It makes me want to work harder so I can make money so I can pay my hubby and I a trip to some place terribly warm for a couple of weeks. For some people, it's never too early to prepare for Xmas, and for those of you who can't wait to buy for their loved ones (even if that loved one is yourself), then I highly suggest you start browsing the pages over at The Complete Bear.

The goods and supplies they offer over there are of high quality and most of the time are Bear themed ~ either the 4 legged type of bear as well the 2 legged variety. There is stuff for your bathroom, kitchen, bedroom... there's jewelry, DVDs, books, clothing, and so forth.

As well as shopping, The Complete Bear is also a complete website. Always growing, there is an extended link section as well as a great blog Bear Bones and a newsletter Chewin' The Fat.

The Complete Bear has also created a TubeBear PRO profile which you can view right here. If you have a Bear website, a Bear event, of if you're a musician, an artist, an author, then create yourself a professional profile. It's simple, just follow these instructions, make yourself a logo (300x300 pixels) as well as an advertising banner (720x90 pixels). Meet Dart, a good looking slim and trim Wolf who enjoys the company of husky brawny Bears. Dart also has an affinity for bondage, role playing and... he looks frikkin' hot in leather. Dart is a lot a like me (Forrest ~ profile) in that we both have this 'thing' for tying up bigger men.

Now many of you might think that guys into BnD are 'bad' people... or something... however this is definitely not the case. Dart is a really nice guy and you can learn a lot about him from reading his LiveJournal page. He's intelligent, humane and quite witty.
