Every now and then I get a great gift in my email inbox. Take a look what at this great image ~ it's a drawing sent in by Simon of Brute (website - profile).

When you visit TubeBear, you will see different images sent in by artists and photographers of their work with the TubeBear logo. I called it 'TubeBear Art'. I've been really fortunate to have some professional guys send in their work. And a little reminder - if you're artist and wish to have your work displayed both on TubeBear and on PlanetBears, check out this article I posted awhile back 'Calling All Artists' and then email me (Bob Forrest - profile) or use the contact form.

Getting back to Simon's work ~ each time I've mentioned Simon in the news (article #1 ~ article #2), I marvel how he is able to creep into my brain and draw images of Bearish men that turn my crank... well with the 'TubeBear Art' he sent in ~ the hairy Daddy Bear with the whip... well... I now classify Simon as an official psychic. This drawing turns me on so much that I put it on my desktop.

You may have notice... on TubeBear - the main page - there's a drawing in the bottom left hand corner. If you refresh the page, the drawing changes. Over the past while, TubeBear has been asking artists to make a TubeBear art piece. Take a look at all the great entries right here.

Calling all artists: if you are a Bear artist - or if you're an artist who makes Bearish art - may it be paintings, drawings, cartoons or photography - send it in (either by email or by the contact form). Here is the TubeBear ball for you to download (it's a zip file with the PSD and the PNG as well the font). What we do over at TubeBear is that we will display it in rotation. Also, if you create a profile and add a link back to your website (either for yourself or for your work), we can also add a banner (720x90 pixels) which will also show up in rotation on the main page.
