More news from Spanish artist Daniel, creator of Sinister Bears (website - articles - TubeBear). Daniel is working on his Zodiac series, with the dozen images representing the different façades of Gay people with much of it slanted to Bear culture (Leather, Dads, Polar Bears).

He recently held a poll on his blog asking which Zodiacs his viewers wanted to see first, and from this he's posted 3 of them and the rest he will be posting soon (and he promised me that Libra is very cool - that being my sign). And the best part of all of this is that he'll be having an exposition in Madrid, Spain soon to show off all of his talented works.

Spanish artist Daniel who runs the blog site 'Flashes Before Your Eyes' (website - articles - TubeBear) has put up a new look to his site. Also, he is working on a new illustration project entitled 'Angels & Demons' that he began on October 5th: on ever Monday he will be adding a new drawing. He started with Saint Peter (a personal fave saint of mine, being the big burly best buddy of Jesus and all), then he'll move onto 3 angels then 3 demons. It's all so other worldly!

On another note and a slight reminder ~ Daniel - among other artists - have sent in a TubeBear drawing, and if you're an artist who is either a Bear or who does Bear drawings, you're more than welcomed to send in your own TubeBear drawing, which shows up randomly on the main page of TubeBear alongside a link back to your own site. Meet XBeart. He's a Spanish Bear who loves stocky Bears and Chubs. Actually, he loves them so much that he has an affinity for drawing them. XBeart has opened up his very own blogspot site and has been putting up his work since April of this year. His drawings are vibrant, colourful, 3D almost and heavy on the erotic. It's a lot of big Bear on big Bear action, so you can guess his work is already going to be a lot of fun to look at. Make sure to add XBeart's blog to your wire.

Bam... Boom... Pow... Wham (Holy Bat Bear!)... you see Flashes Before Your Eyes... and welcome to Daniel's world in which you will find some very delightful Sinister Bears, among a whole bagful of other interesting tidbits.

It's a brand new blog about Bears and comic books, all deriving from the creative mind and fingers of Daniel ~ a 28 year Spaniard out in Cadiz, Spain who's got a cool quick eye for cute Bearish men. His site is mostly in Spanish however he has been translating some of it to English lately which is great for a Canadian like me. Go check out his stuff, it's a lot of fun.

By the way, I got the Boom Boom Pow not from the old Batman show, but by the Black Eyes Peas (website - video) - it's their first single from their latest CD - the E.N.D.. And like Fergie sings, she likes that Boom Boom Pow and she's 3008 and I'm so 2000 and late... whatever the hell that means!...

Spanish artist Yotto Bano who runs one of the coolest names for a blog - UrsuLaLaLa (blog - articles - profile) has done something very cool with his artwork. He's put them on ties...! The idea for this comes from his friend Angelo Panteleo (blog). And good news, these ties are for sale, so contact Yotto, the king of 'Graffiti & Urban Bear Art', and also let him know that his work is truly unique, playful, colorful... all the right ingredients on making this a better world.

Check out the latests drawings... and with each wall he paints, he makes this world just a little more huskier, cuter, Bearier...

Brute by Simon Share, RSS
Thursday, January 1, 2009

It's been a long hard Christmas and Santa needs his rest, so 'shh...' and try not to make too much noise because I've heard that Santa can be a real Brute if he doesn't get a full night's rest.

Actually, this drawing is done by Spanish artist Simon and you can see a lot more of his fantastic work over at his website. Now this isn't the first time that I mention Simon's work; I did so back in Dec '06 (article), however he has since created a new site and has added a ton more of his incredible drawings. And what I said 2 years ago still stands today ~ it's as if Simon has been able to enter into my mind and pull out the type of men that I find good looking, then went ahead and put them to drawing with incredible detail as well as rich with colour. Not only that but Simon has his 'brutes' in uniforms sometimes, or in leather, or he draws a dreamy coach in the locker room. Simply exhilarating.

Some people hate their boss while some people are sleeping with their boss... and isn't it great when you're the boss...? Why all this boss talk? Well check out Bossy Sculpture, original artwork created by the handsome (and not so bossy looking) Jorge. Reading his bio, it states that Jorge is born and raised in Spain and has had a love affair with animation and art sculpture since very young. He's been working on model collections since '97 and what you see on his site is his latest and 3rd collection which is still a work in progress. Some really great stuff he's got going on there - from muscle-type construction guys to right-out Bears.

Visit his online shop - as it states on his site: "Each figure in this series is individually designed and produced. The process begins with an original hand drawn design. The drawing is used to create an original sculpture which is made out of clay. A mold of the original sculpture is made in silicone rubber. Each design produces 50 individual hard resin castings. Each casting is then sanded and hand painted with high quality acrylics. Finally each casting is given a protective coating".

On TubeBear, there's over 8600 profiles with around 3200 images in their galleries, and there is sure a lot of very good looking men. What I like to do is browse the galleries... and I came across this photo (small - large) which is just... well... spectacular, or I think so anyway (there's always going to be a picture that will impress over the others... just like a song you listen to over and over... or that Xmas time movie you always want to see again and again).

His nickname is Cabriat (profile), he's in Spain, there isn't anything added to his 'about' section yet he's 35, and I know he takes a great photo. To see the rest of his gallery, you need to login to TubeBear.

Now if you see a spectacular image on TubeBear, email me or use the contact form. And now that people are adding more and more RIMs (Recorded Instant Messages), let me know of a particular RIM that you had to watch a few times. Let's share our good looking findings here on TubeBear.
