Soundchaser's website was one of my very 'chubby' experiences I had on the net. The site has been up and running since 1994 and I'm willing to bet that he has the oldest running chub site around. He's always done his best to keep the site updated with a ton of good looking men and he's informing us that he's recently updated his website so go and give it a good gander. Make sure to check out his Chubby Porn Blog as well and TubeBear profile.

Right at this moment, EBMC (European Big Men's Convergence - TubeBear PRO profile) is in full swing in Brussels, Belgium and will be rocking right thru until November 5th. The event is hosted by the Girth & Mirth Belgium club and their website is the well known BiggerWorld.com (TubeBear PRO profile).
All that being said, I want to timewarp back when the internet was a relatively unknown entity, back to 1994, back when a 14.4k was the hottest thing on the market. BiggerWorld was online and was one of the 1st websites for big men on and their admirers (SoundChaser being another site - website - articles - TubeBear profile) and it's popularity grew up until they had to shut down a lot of their features, such as the free galleries (more Biggerworld history here).
I remember back then when I was visiting their site and I came upon one of their section that consisted of a 3D virtual world. Back in '95 there was a place called Alpha World (now called Active Worlds (website - Wiki) in which you could build your own home in a virtual space. I marvelled at BiggerWorld's virtual space because I had never experienced anything quite like that. Only a bit later did I discover games like Doom and Quake, yet it was BiggerWorld that introduced me to 3D virtuality.
Philippe from G&M Belgium informed me that the virtual world he created was destroyed by the owners of Alpha World, and as he stated, it was "a lot of work reduced to nothing" yet he did save some screenshots which he sent us. Click here to see them.

Once in awhile I get a nice surprise in my email box. Soundchaser (website - TubeBear profile) who's been running a chubby website since 1994 - before most of us even knew what the internet was - has opened up a new section to his webpage. It's called Heroes and he's been featuring "Photographers whose work (he) loves and who has had an influence on the creation of his Gallery Peculiar". Well, his August Hero is me, Forrest (TubeBear profile).
Yes, this is like me tooting my own horn, but it's an honour to get something like this from the likes of Soundchaser since it's guys like him who got me all hot and bothered about the internet and had me wanting to open up my site.
This is what Soundchaser said about me (yes, yes, I'm gloating): "Another exceptional artist with a fine taste in men is Forrest creator and maintaining of one of the most influential sites on the Bearish web.
Starting out many years ago with his BearPress website, Forrest was a pioneer - blogging the many joys of the Word Wide Woof long before blogging was invented. Then came bear-pics.com where his photography took centre stage, capturing iconic images of Bear legends like Eito (I shed a tear when I heard he'd gone).
These days he's combined the two previous sites into PlanetBears - the best Bear news and some incredibly gorgeous men brilliantly photographed".
Ah... ok, I'll stop glowing. Thanks a bunch, Soundchaser, for the kind recognition. Visit the PlanetBears galleries.

The internet is turning into something bigger and badder than anyone expected. Take a site like Flickr, right now ranked as the 32nd most visited site on the net (according to Alexa - #1 is Yahoo!), and, according to Wikipedia (here) "Flickr has a repository that is quickly approaching 1 billion images (as of August 2007)".
Now if you have the time to look at a billion pictures, well Godspeed to you. However if you only have a little time on your hands today, then head on over Gabo1977's profile page. There's a small slew of really fun pics of these 2 guys, and one of them is this really good looking husky hairy hunk. See him dressed as a warrior, see a couple of nudes, there's a few of him bound up for Xmas, and there's also a bunch of general fun pics. There's very little info about these guys except that they are called Gabriel and Ivan, so you'll just have to settle with their professionally taken photos.
Thanks to Soundchaser (website) for pointing out the artist's link (in his blog). And, little facts - PlanetBears is - according to Alexa - ranked 435,720th on the net, and TubeBear is ranked 546,275th - however TubeBear was ranked 1,692,080 back in June... that's a gain of a million site. #1 here we come... ahem...

May it be that SoundChaser has the oldest chubby chasing site on the net...? He's been around since 1994 and only real geeky Bears with their ultra speedy 14.4k modems were on the net back then (like me... boasting, I know) and I remember SoundChaser's site over the years and how it has changed.
Now it might not be the best looking site out there but there is a ton of pics for you to gawk over and it's all free so you gotta give kudos to SoundChaser for keeping this site running for now 13 years and being a pioneer in being one of the 1st guys around to post pics of big chubby men.
Tons of links to check out, and oh ya, the reason why he calls himself SoundChaser must have to do with the fact that he digs Chubby singers... but really... you're going to his site to see the man, and there's a small ton of links, you just have to be patient and click them all.
And lastly he has been working on a new section called 'Heroes' ~ Photographers whose work that has influenced his galleries ~ and this month his hero is GianOrso (website - SoundChaser's Hero page - TubeBear profile) who happens to be my one of my heroes as well.
