It's been awhile since I mentioned BTalk (the B signifying Bear)... a podcast show run by 4 really cute guys out in Minnesota. These guys always seem to put a smile on my face (#1 because they are funny witty and #2 because they are hot and make me feel good in my tummy... and down below).

They also have a great website which they update tons, and lately they have been doing their podcast live on UStream, so now you actually get to put a super cute face to their sexy voices. They have just added episode #161. And you know when they say that a guy has a face for radio? Well it's definitely not true for any of the BTalkers; they all have a face for livestreaming. Go check it out yourself and become a Btalkie.

Greg Hudson (profile - photo) of Woobie Bear Music (website - articles) has recently done an interview on Go Rainbow Radio (website). You can check it out over on their Podcast section and you'll also be able to hear some fine music from Bears as well as other GLBT artists. And while you're at it, make sure to check out the Woobie Bear Music Store where you'll find a ton of great music done specifically by Bearish musicians.

It has been awhile since we featured a TubeBearer (those with a TubeBear profile). The plan was to feature one new TubeBear profile a week, but that plan seem to go astray, and it's actually been quite some time since a profile has been featured. So instead of just featuring one this time, how about checking out a few... this way we can kind of catch up... or something.

Let's start off with Earl, aka ArtsyGuy. A handsome Daddy from the USA who does some fun Bearish drawings. He also does other types (non-Bearish), which you can see from his site.

Now head on over to Tim's profile, aka TimCub. Cute... nice smile... and that's Montreal in his main profile photo (my hometown). No, that is not why I'm featuring TimCub... he is from Austin, TX and he has his own podcast show as well as cool website called Cubs Out Loud (TubeBear profile - articles) ~ and if the Cubs were as cute as Tim, I just might open PlanetCubs some day. He also has a MySpace page.

Third profile to check out ~ Marvin's aka Ursusnoir. From Renton, he has a sool website called Ursus At Large. Marvin runs a podcast as well (here). From his site: "Ursus @ Large is the podcast that follows Marvin on his journey through life as a single Bear in Seattle. Just like life, this podcast doesn't necessarily follow a single theme".

There we have it... now we're a bit more caught up. I will continue to keep an eye out on all those new TubeBear profiles ~ we're up to 7200+ now and counting. If you know of a profile you think should be featured, email me (Forrest ~ TubeBear profile) or use the Contact form... even if you think it's you that should be featured.

Awhile back (article) I mentioned that Dart (TubeBear profile), the webmaster for BearBound (TubeBear 'PRO' profile - articles), has opened his own site called Dart's Domain. Since then he has been working on doing quite a few podcasts.

Check out his blog section as he's been chatting with friends within the leather realm. I've just finished listening to Part I of his chat with Cub Dan. Now Dan is super cute and you can see him tied up in all kinds of interesting ways on BearBound, but click here to see some previews (and here from a prior article).

Nard (TubeBear profile) and his buddy Ray (TubeBear profile) recently went live so as to commemorate their 200th episode with BearPodCast (website - articles). From their site: "This is the video version of our 200th episode! It’s the Wayne's World edition! We talked about Rogaine, Sci-fi, Bear events... and many voicemails and listener feedbacks. Nard screws up on the guitar and introductions. We thank all our listeners and supporters! This is a milestone for us".

Nard was using the live streaming offered here on TubeBear. It's very simple to set up so if you're interested in putting on a live show, just email us or use the contact form and we'll help you set yourself up to go live.

Here is one great blog - it's called Cubs Out Loud - 'The Bear Blog of Indeterminate Length'. I first heard about this site in one of Nard's BearPodCast episodes so I checked it out and wow, it's one site you need to bookmark and visit almost on a daily basis. These guys are busy with event postings, Bear news concerning artists, links to videos and music and they write some truly interesting articles. On top of all that, they post a regular COL podcast. You gotta love their 'busy'-ness and it's all about the Bear man... and they young Cub lads as well. In their about section, they state that "Cubs Out Loud Blog is intended to be your one stop Bear Shop for Bear news" and they are doing a fine job living up to it.

Right now, Nard (TubeBear profile) of BearPodCast, along with his buddy Ray aka HouBearDad (TubeBear profile) - are doing their podcast live from Cirque Des Soleil (Circus of the Bears) which is happening this weekend. Cirque des Ours is this year's theme for Texas Bear Round Up that is hosted by the Dallas Bears. If you want to speak to Nard right now, then join his chatroom and chat with him live.

It's a long title for this article but that's because there's a lot of stuff happening. Here's the lowdown: 1st off - Cirque Des Soleil (Circus of the Bears) is happening this upcoming weekend and it's this year's theme for the Texas Bear Round Up. This event is hosted by the Dallas Bears and it all takes place in Dallas, TX from March 20th thru the 23rd.

2ndly - Nard (TubeBear profile) of BearPodCast, along with his buddy Ray aka HouBearDad (TubeBear profile) - are going to do their podcast show at the event. This time, they are going live, which brings me to number 3.

3rdly - yes... live... this is going to be the 1st time that a Bear event will be broadcasted live on the net. Last week Nard, Ray and TubeBear did some tests and the results were positive (save a few audio glitches). It was so succesful that Nard posted the show (BearPodCast 191).

which brings me #4:

4thly - if you have a Bear event and you wish to broadcast some of it live, then we can do this on TubeBear. What's great is that not only do we broadcast here in on our site, but we can also set it up and broadcast it on your site as well, at the same time... live. This is great - it's a simple yet new technology and TubeBear is officially the 1st Bear site to offer this. So contact us (email - form) and let us know about your event and we will start setting things up in order to have your run presented live on the net.

A lot of Bears are geeks at heart. They love their technology, they play their games, they dig their gadgets, and they get turned on by Bears... and if this applies to you, then you are a Bear Geek and you should be tuning into the new weekly podcast which deals precisely with those issues.

Want to know a little more? Then here is what they sent in: "Aerdon and I are partners, he is a Bear and I am a Chaser. We have been gaming together for a long time. The other guys on the show are some of our closest friends who we game with on a daily basis. We always banter with our friends about gaming and tech news and the podcast has really just been us sticking a mic in front of us and getting our geek on for an hour. When I discovered the Bear podcasts about 6 months ago and fell in love with the other popular shows. I love the idea of a low production show that has a global reach! As soon as I mentioned the idea, Aerdon, Durkin, and Transit were on board to do the show within a week. As far as producing the show, everything kind of just came together and it has been great so far. We are really having a blast with it!

BearGeek 2.0 will be launching soon. We are planning on this happening sometime this Spring/Summer. From then on we will focus our efforts a lot more on the website as we will have a lot more control over the things we can do! Our goals consist of the following: to consistently put out weekly episodes, to not treat this like it is work, to bring together Bears gamers and all other gamers, and to get our bitching out so when we game we can actually talk strategy!".

It's time once again to surf the net for them sexy Bear voices... let's go pick up some podcasts done by Bears and made for Bears, shall we...? It's been a month since I last mentioned the podcasts (article here) so get your download finger ready.

Starting with BearPodCast - Nard (TubeBear profile) has been really busy since the last time I posted about the podcasts. The last time I mentioned his show, he was at #140. He has done 9 shows since then. The man is a machine. Head on over to his site and listen to his shows from Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.

Grab a plane and fly around the world to Australia, or just visit the Bears in the City website. Since the last mention, they have done 2 shows - episode #12 (download here) and episode #13 (download here).

And have the Bears of BTalkworld slowed down since they lost one of their hosts? Nope, no way. Since the last mention, they have added 4 more shows - episode #95 (download here) - episode #96 (download here) - episode #97 (download here) - episode #98 (download here).

Now how about some AmericanBadBear... these guys have a show called BearZero (TubeBear profile) and they make video podcasts. They are now at episode #7 (download here).

And... the FoulMonkeys (TubeBear profile)... they have posted a ton of shows as well since my last post - 6 shows - bringing them to 113. Just head on over to their page and dowload them all.

If you have a podcast show and you want some Bears to listen to it... then email me or message me - Forrest (TubeBear profile) or use the Submit News and I'll add your podcast to the news.

Time to find that coziest spot in the house, put on the headphones and listen to some of the sexiest voices you'll find online as you download your favourite podcasts done by Bears and made especially for Bears and their Admirers.

(note - Now I've been away from my fast connection for the past little while so I'm playing a little catch up with some of the podcasts - which means I have quite a few to mention).

Always alphabetically, first to check out Nard (TubeBear profile) and company over at BearPodCast. The last time I posted about BPC, they had finished episode #137, which means I need to mention episode #138 - (Hairspray, Paris Je T'Aime, Singshot, Vista, Listener Voicemails, Bear from Seattle - download here); episode #139 - (Southeastern Bear Gathering, Simpsons, Heroes, DJ Airick - download here) and episode #140 (2nd Year Anniversary Episode, Top 5 Episodes, Top 5 Videos, Cubby Talk - download here). That's a whole lot of Nardness.

Now to check out Bears in the City, the Australian podcast with your hosts John, Craige, Dominic and Seumas. Their most recent pod is episode #11 (download here). Check out their site for the full description of that show.

Moving onto BTalk, ever since they lost one of their hosts, they haven't slowed down at all. Since the last time I mentioned their show, they have posted episode #92 (download here), episode #93 (download here) and episode #94 (download here).

Now for a newer gang, the guys who give you AmericanBadBear have been pumping out something a little different - video podcasts. Their show is called BearZero (TubeBear profile) and their latest show is episode #6 (download here).

And the only one who don't call themselves Bears but rather Foul Monkeys, their host Ricky is definitely a Bear (TubeBear profile) and since the last time I mentioned their show, they have casted 2 new episodes - episode #106 (download here) and episode #107 (download here).

DJ Ted Eiel is as sexy as the music he spins. As it states on his website, he has a love for "funky, chunky, meaty, masculine basslines and melodic hooks". He has played coast to coast in the States and even in Europe, with his upcoming gig will have him spinning at the Lazy Bear Weekend which starts August 1st.

Head on over to his Podcast page so you can get a taste of what kind of music he mixes. "Ted tries to find underground music with energy and soul that will make you move".

It's that time again to do the Bear podcast rounds. Get your download finger ready as it's time to catch up with your favourite Bear podcasters.

First there is BTalk and they have posted episode #90 (download here). Not sure what they talk about in this episode (I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet), but their shows are always great so you're sure to enjoy it.

Then let's move on over to BearPodCast with their episode #136 (download here). This one looks quite interesting and maybe even a bit controversial since they posted a warning. From their site: "This is a unique episode and I just want to make it clear that we are not endorsing or showing any favoritism on any particular belief or faith. We are simply expressing our opinions and experiences on being Bears and being spiritual. We talked about our coming out experiences, spiritual persecution, 'conversion therapy', and our experiences in being gay in the community".

And when you visit the zoo and have finished taking a 1000 pics of the bears, you have to go over and see the monkeys. Check out Foul Monkeys and their episode #103 (download here). From their site: "Basically this show is interviewing Dustin. He is a marine and is being deployed back to Iraq. We ask him some very curious questions. Listen to what he has to say".

It's time to catch up with the latest podcasts done by Bears all around the world. Beginning down under, head on over to Bears in the City, the Australian podcast. Their latest episodes they have created since the last time I mentioned them are episode #9 (download here) and episode #10 (download here).

Now off to the US of A and starting with BTalk, grab episode #88 (download here) and episode #89 (download here). Once you're done grabbing those, then head on over to BearPodCast and boy do I have quite a few to mention since the last time I updated here about the podcasts. There's episode #131 (download here), episode #132 (download here), episode #133 (download here) and episode #134 (download here) and new just today, episode #135 (download here). These guys are just way too fast for me.

(Taking a deep breath...) Last time I mentioned the Foul Monkeys they were celebrating their 100th episode (and they called my site BearTube when it's actually TubeBear... just feel like making them feel a bit more guilty). Well the Monkeys have a brand new looking site... looks great, and they are now working on their next 100, with episode #101 (download here) and episode #102 (download here).

Now that is a lot of Bearish podcast hitting the airwaves. However, if you have a podcast and it's geared toward the Bear population, email me, Forrest (TubeBear profile) or use the Send News Form and I'll be glad to mention it here in the news.

I'm a little behind with this post (I've been a little behind in many posts been working on a bunch of stuff ~ never mind back to the article)... head on over to Foul Monkeys and pick up which is sure to be the infamous episode #100 in which a ton of callers call in and wish Ricky B and Herbe and friends a happy 100th (download here). I called in and left a hello, and they made a booboo by calling the site I work for BearTube when in fact it's called TubeBear, but it's a new site so I forgive them. I also tried to get Drako my pup to say hello but he seems to be podcast shy, however check out some videos I made with him in the past while. And you thought this post was about Foul Monkeys...

The other day I posted an article about the myriad of great Bearish podcasts that can be found afloat in cyberspace (article here) - well if you read it right through, I posted a link to a video made by the guys who do the BearZERO podcast ~ and these guys are known as the AmericanBadBear studios gents.

This video is definitely worth an article all on its own. The clip has all the cute guys who make up the other podcasts such as Ricky B (TubeBear profile) from Foul Monkeys and the BTalk guys... and of course, Nard of BearPodCast (TubeBear profile). As well there's tons of scenes of delicious men hanging about the pool.

Watch the video - it's a hoot (and the beginning with Nard singing is just classic).

You know of PlanetBears... because you're reading this... you might even know of UrsusPlanet (which is not the Italian version of PlanetBears, just as a 'for your info') and maybe even Bear-Universe... but did you know that there is even a BearCosmos...?

BearCosmos is "a blog center created for the Bear and Chub community and is totally free. In our community there are a lot of writers, thinkers, poets, musicians, etc., so a Bearish web programmer with the help of a group of crazy people who happened to be 'all big furry husky men' have decided to create a blogging system based on an open source system.

User friendly interface, podcasting, automatic thumbnail generation, mass uploading of files, a file browser, custom descriptions for each file, moblogging, template editor, nested comments, built-in anti-spam filter and you can easily give your friends permissions to write in your weblog.

You can write or place anything that you like about yourself or the community, the only thing that is not permitted is info that will harm another person and this site is intended for users 21 years of age or older.

It is now in the beta stage yet everyone can use it and we are looking forward for feedback from testers to allow us to fix bugs and errors in the software. Also you can suggest features that can be implemented into the final version of the website".
