[PlanetBears members - click here] It's funny how life is... I hadn't seen Jacques aka PandaMontreal (galleries - profile) for over a year and a half, and in the past month I've seen him 3 times. It's mostly my fault for not getting together... I've been doing that whole 'love' thing with Roger (galleries - profile).

Anyhow, the last time I saw Jacques he handed me a bunch of CDs with photos of himself, some I posted in my last update (here) and some I'm posting today. This set Panda calls it his Sexcapades... it's all about him surrounded by his myriad of teddybears, him checking out guys in Uniform magazine and in a 'jerk off' session.

Last Saturday night the Woof Bar (website) held the very first Monsieur Bear Montréal contest. 5 guys competed and it was Robert Pettigrew who took the title. Check out the pics from the event here. On a personal note, my partner Roger (galleries - profile) was one of the contestants and he was runner-up, and from what I understand, he was very close to winning. Nevertheless he had fun and he looked great in his business suit and leather gear.

As I mentioned, we were there broadcasting the show live thru TubeBear - however we did have issues, mostly wi-fi issues. The connection would fade out, and each time it did we lost the broadcast, so there was a lot of reconnecting going on. The good news is that we taped the whole show, which means you'll be able to see it soon.

TubeBear is going to be livecasting the 'Monsieur Bear Montréal' contest tonight - Saturday, August 30th - 10PM EST - at the 'Woof Bistro & Bar' (website - articles - profile) which is at 1661 Ste Catherine street in the Gay Village of Montreal.

This is going to be the 1st Bear contest ever that this city is going to see, so it's not only going to be fun but a bit monumental. Woof bar is also new and it's the 1st bar that is catering to Bears and their admirers. The owner is real cool and sympathetic, so we're all hoping this is going to be the start of a really good thing.

I (Forrest) will be broadcasting live from the bar, so if you cannot make it in person, then come by and watch it online, either on PlanetBears or on TubeBear. Make sure to send in some messages during the show.

ps - my hubby Roger (galleries - profiles) is going to be one of the contestants for Monsieur Bear. This is the first time he's ever done anything like this so he's a bit nervous but he's also excited and he's out to have fun. Make sure to come by and root for him, in person on online.

Here are the recent photos of Alain, aka BearMontreal (profile). As I mentioned in the preview, BearMontreal is this 6'2'' dark and handsome Bear, born in Europe and has been in Canada for over a decade. He's trilingual (English, French and Italian) and he is of Italian descent.

He is a friend of Roger's (gallery - profile), and while chatting on TubeBear, BearMontreal wanted to have some photos of him taken. He mentioned me (Forrest - profile) and that I took pictures, so off we went into downtown Montreal for an impromptu photo shoot. It was already late so we were only able to get one set of photos in, however Alain stated he would really like a set of pics taken of him in the shower. Altho it's not been scheduled yet, we will be getting together in the near future to fulfill this shower scene.

Here is the 3rd and final set of Ben Goodman. Members, click here. Ben (profile) and I are trying to schedule another meeting, hopefully near the end of August... we want to work on another set of photos... we might even dabble with a bit of bondage.

In this photo set, you get to see Ben in a snazzy suit. He's on a business trip and he's now retiring back in his hotel room after a long day of work. He is just about to get undress and put on some leather so as to hit the evening Montreal scene when he decides to quickly login to TubeBear to see if he has any messages. He has one from Frank (galleries - profile), which he checks out. It's one of Frank dancing to some disco. He then gets another message from Forrest (profile), and he chats with him a bit, all the while getting undressed.

Here's someone who's got all the right ingredients to being a Daddy Bear; he's good looking, debonair, he's thoughtful, has a nice sense of humour about him, witty while intelligent, modern while paying attention to traditional ways. His name is Richard and he's a husky Bear from Montreal. Check out his gallery here.

These pictures were taken back in January '07. Now there's the long version as to why I never added these pics and there's also the short version. So here's the mid-length version: I met Roger (website - gallery - profile) just shortly after taking these photos, and when you meet the man of your dreams, everything else is placed on the shelf. I was also working on a Valentine's themed movie (it was January and I had a couple of weeks to work on it), and Richard's in it as well as Jacques aka PandaMontreal (website - gallery - profile) and Friedrich (gallery)... I have all the film for it, it's just a question of editing it... anyhow, that got shelved as well.

Fast forward to today and I'm re-discovering all this material I have, so I'm trying to add as much of it as possible, all the while working on some newer material.

It's very simple - just make something incredible - you have 720x90 pixels (example) to play with for the banner and 250x250 pixels (example) for the logo. It must be in either .JPG, .GIF or .SWF (Flash) format.

This is a contest so the winner will get $100 as well as a lifetime membership to the PlanetBears Gallery and Video section. However ~ all those who send something in will get a year membership to the site, so just by participating you're going to win something (note: your work needs to be approved first).

This contest will run until the middle of August 2008. Send all entries via email or use the contact form. You can apply as many times as you like.

I am going to look for some sponsors as well so maybe I'll be able to give away some DVDs too. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate (or the legal age within your district).

Once again I scoured my archived files and came out with a few pictures of David (gallery - profile) and Eric Z. (gallery) which I never got around to adding to bear-pics, so I'm adding them here today. They were taken on a hot May morning in '05. We were all just sitting on the upstairs balcony and I took a few shots. We later went downtown and I took a few more there as well. View these pics here.

I didn't add them because I didn't think there was enough pics in order to make a set, and I guess there isn't actually that many pics, altho you do get a good view of David's legs. However I'm adding them because I'm accompanying these pics with a little 4 minute video... and this too I never added to bear-pics. This was taken in November '05 - it was around 9:30AM or so and my job was to get David and Eric up since we had to be somewhere for 10AM. They were sleeping in the guestroom that had my aunt's bed in it at the time (I refer to the bed being faggy)... they were slow to waking up so I decided to tickle them out of it. It's nothing more than a cute video (meaning - not sexual).

[PlanetBears/bear-pics members - click here] When I first opened up TubeBear, I started featuring profiles of guys I thought were cute and had great photos. One of the very first gents I featured was a cute guy with the nickname Thudd (profile). His name is Ben Goodman and he lives in Ottawa with his equally cute partner Furry Fukker (profile)... fast forward a couple of months and Ben emails me, saying he's coming up my way for the opening of a new Bear bar in Montreal and would be interested in doing a photo shoot. It had been a long time since I've done a shoot (I mean, I've been taking photos of Roger for a year straight, but nobody else)... so let me rephrase, it's been awhile since I did a shoot with someone other than my partner, but luckily Ben and I worked really well, he's truly photogenic, cute, and we all had a good time over the weekend, especially when Ben's partner would crack jokes.

There's 2 sets added today in the Galleries - the 1st set is of Ben in Old Montreal, and the 2nd set is him in the hot tub at the Big Boys Guesthouse. I have one more set of photos left which I will add next week - it's him in (and out) of his business suit chatting on his webcam and laptop, and there's also Video that goes along with it.

I'm hoping that we'll all get together soon to repeat the process because I truly enjoyed working with Ben. He's a real good looking Bear, has a gentle smile, soft brown eyes, and all the while is funny, witty, energetic and intelligent.

Added a few clips to the Video page. First there's a couple of Rocky (Gallery - TubeBear profile). The 2nd time Rocky and I did a shoot, he brought his guitar with him, so he sang a couple of songs and I recorded him singing. Check the videos here and here. Also, I have a couple of videos for those who like the bondage. The 1st one is all about the straight jacket, and the 2nd one is all about the stretching.

This is the final installment in the 'Frank: The Lost Videos' series. You can see it from the PlanetBears' Video page.

If you haven't been following, this is #8 in a set of mini movies Frank (gallery - TubeBear profile) and I (Forrest - TubeBear profile) made way back in '03 when we did a shoot. The pictures were added online but never the videos. Now rather than go into the whole history again about these lost videos, just follow these links and each one will fill you in to the story: Video I - Video II - Video III - Video IV - Video V - Video VI and Video VII.

In this video, Frank is tied down spread-eagled to the bed. He's blindfolded, collared, and he didn't know I was filming. There was a lot of talking however I edited out a lot of chatter (like talking about the series Six Feet Under) however I did keep some of the more interesting stuff we chatted about.

Now Frank had never been tied down before, so he was having a little time getting hard... but then we realized it wasn't because he was tied down... it's because he had to piss. Instead of untying him, I became very creative by having him piss in a plastic bottle. Seemed that Frank is 'pee shy'...

It's another fun video... altho unfortunately a little dark. Thing is - this was a new video camera for me so I was learning how to use it. While I was filming, I was also taking pictures with another digital camera. The problem was - I was basing the results of the pictures with what I was expecting the video to look like. Since the pictures were coming out bright and clear, I figured I had enough light while filming. I was wrong...

I have to say that my partner Roger (website - TubeBear profile - galleries) has a pair of Spanks and he wears them every time we go to the pool at the gym. They truly show off his magnificently big beefy husky legs. Actually we made a couple of short little videos with Roger in his Spanks. Guess who is coming back to Montreal? It's the super cute Frank from New Jersey - the one that looks like he should belong on the Sopranos set however once you get to know him, he's the biggest teddy bear kind of guy around.

Frank came to Montreal back in April of 2003 so it's gonna be 5 years since I've seen him. However, we have been talking on the phone and now online using TubeBear's webcam chat room. Actually, Frank has started to stream live so make sure to check out the LiveStreaming page and you just might catch him on cam.

We plan on doing a photo and video shoot so it's going to be great to have some new material of Frank. He was very popular back in the day and he's done nothing more than gotten cuter over the years. He's aging very well.

Here are a few gallery updates including a small video clip. Starting with the photos, I added 2 sets to Daniel's gallery page. Actually, I made 1 gallery public which you can all see here, and I made the 2nd one private for members only (click here). These pics were taken during the fall of '06. I was still in my house back then (which I sold the year later), and I remember adding a few of these pics to the old bear-pics site (the public pics) yet I never added any from those I added today in the private set in which Daniel is tied down to a bed by Eric Zoonino (galleries here and here). We also made a video however... the video I made was on an external hard drive which fell to the ground and since then I have not been able to retrieve any data. Eric made a video as well so maybe I will be able to get his copy.

The video is a short one of a Bear who is tied down and has his feet tickled (members click here to see it). There is no sound but it's still a fun little video. I will be adding some more video very soon - some newer ones from Frank - The Lost Videos series. You should see a new one by the beginning of the new week, and that's no April Fools'.

Jacques - aka PandaMontreal - has sent in a nice slew of pictures of himself for Xmas 2007 as well as New Year 2008. The pictures were taken by his buddy Lupercus. Check them out here.

Jacques has been proven to be a true good friend for the past 4 years that I have known him and we have worked on many different types of photo shoots (as you can see from his PlanetBears' gallery) and Jacques has worked with many different photographers and you can see all his photo sets from his PictureTrail page (and there are thoughtful write-ups to all of his photo sets). He even worked with me on my little movie hobby known as ACTV (he's in Part X). Friday signifies updates over at BearBound. There are 3 new photo sets, 2 new video clips as well as a graphic series updated once a month drawn by MancerBear (website - TubeBear profile). You will start to find some bound PlanetBears models in their galleries (so far MogwaiCub - gallery - as well as Sasha - gallery) so if you are into bondage, then you will see only their 'bound' photo sets. Welcome to TubeBear. If you haven't done so yet, it's time to make yourself a profile by simply joining. Once you create a profile with a main photo, you will be able to use the webcam chatroom as well as browse over 1500+ of pictures.

You will soon be able to have your very own webcam chat from your profile page - it will look something like Roger and Forrest's webcam chat page. Roger is the cute Bear (gallery - TubeBear profile) and Bob Forrest (that's me) is Roger's partner and the webmaster for TubeBear and PlanetBears (TubeBear profile). Sometimes you will see us just working on the computer, sometimes you will see a couple of empty chairs, and sometimes you will see us fooling around and playing with each other. There's a new feature over at BearBound and that's photos taken by me (Forrest - TubeBear profile). I have been in contact with Master Dart (profile - articles) who co-owns and manages BearBound and we thought it was a good idea to feature some of the models I've worked with, like MogwaiCub (galleries) and Sputnyk (galleries) with many more to come - so if you're someone who is truly and solely interested in seeing husky Bears in bondage, then that is what you will be definitely getting with BearBound. When I work with a model, I try to get in as many different settings as possible however I do tend to lean towards a lot of bondage, so you will see some of those bondage shots on the best Bear bondage site in the universe.
