Truly the best looking hip-hop rapper on the planet - Bigg Nugg has some bigg news. First off, there's a lot of links to check out so here goes (website - YouTube page - MySpace page - PlanetBears articles - TubeBear profile).

Now for the news - Nugget is going to release his sophomore album on September 2nd. It's going to be called 'Nugget Volume I' and it's an album about self-love, confidence, empowerment and growth. "The album is the fifth release for Nugget Audio, run by Bigg Nugg. The album features production by MC Envy, Chill, Tori Fixx, Malo Music, as well as Bigg Nugg". It's been in production for a year and a half and he feels it's ready for the masses.

From Bigg Nugg: "I really wanted to focus on putting out the highest quality album, that everyone could enjoy. The album is full of club tracks you can dance to... it's sexy and it's fun. I've been through a lot the past two years, and it is evident on this album. All I could do was translate my experiences through music".

Bigg Nugg has been featured on various blogs such as AfterElton.com to 365Gay.com. His music has received airplay on stations from Pittsburgh, PA to Houston TX, and was featured on Bear Tracks 4 at Woobie Bear Music (website - profile). Bigg Nugg was also reviewed in A Bear's Life magazine. 'Nugget Volume 1' is available on GayMusicUSA (as a pre-sale) and it will soon be available through all digital distribution outlets.

The Northeast Ursamen of Connecticut are preparing for their upcoming Bear Migration. This is number 16. The following is from their site (download their PDF form): "Every year a group of brave and hearty Bears set off from their homes and trek into the 'Endless Mountains' of Pennsylvania, to a place where their most primal urges can be unleashed. That place is Hillside Campground and the annual trek begins Friday May 23rd and ends on Monday May 26th. Registration Deadline is May 18th. Hillside Campground is a private, members only campground for adult, gay men. It is located about ½ hour north of Scranton, PA on Rt. 81 in Gibson, PA. Amenities include 100+ camp-sites, a heated in-ground swimming pool, 'nature walk', and bonfires by the recreation hall. Clothing is optional".

There's a place called Bearidise which is a mansion that's in a town called Milesburg, PA (which is around 2.5 hours from Harrisburg, PA and 2.5 hours away from Pittsburg, PA... there's quite a few 'burgs' in Pennsylvania). You should check out their site as these guys host regular Bearish events. Robert Harmon aka JrBear of Bound in Ink (articles - TubeBear PRO profile) is informing us that his work will be displayed at an upcoming charity event for the Calcutta House. This will be taking place at The Bike Stop in Philadelphia, PA on April 17th. As well, Rob will be showing his new collection of drawings kick off this show. 20% of all the sales from the artists will be given to the Calcutta House.

The Liberty Bears of Philadelphia, PA are going to have their Bears on Liberty Weekend (this is their 6th) on May 8th thru the 11th. This year they will be joining forces with the Liberty Gay Rodeo Association which means they are planning a trip to the Liberty Stampede rodeo. Also, as one of their main events, Bearapalooza (TubeBear profile) will be playing on Friday night at the Loews Ballroom.

The other day I posted an article about Gabo1977's photography that he has posted on Flickr (article here). Since that post, I've been surfing Flickr when I get the chance and I'm finding that there are a lot of talented photographers who take pics of Bears... much to my delight.

Another fine talented photographer goes by the name of Denny K and check out his work here. The men he photographs... well... a lot of them are truly hunky and husky. Denny K also has a flare for black and white shots, making his images all that more impressionable and dramatic. Here's from his bio: "I'm an eclectic collection of contradictions. Trying to show that everyone is 'model' material. All God's creatures have a spirit that makes them worthy of adoration and immortality. Always looking for models in the southwestern Pennsylvania area. Mainly males wanted but always willing to take photos for anyone... even women... LOL. I am a gay man but appreciate the beauty in every form. All body types and ages wanted".

Browse through Denny K's work, you won't be sorry. And I'll continue to search and find more photographers who take pics of Bears and puts them on Flickr... and... I know I mentioned this last time... but Flickr is almost at a billion photos... insane.

Here's a question that was sent to me: "What do the Pocono Warriors have in common with Bears...?" - and their answer is "they both know how to have a good time with 100 Men in the Woods" ~ an all inclusive kinky camping weekend for men. I can only imagine.

You will easily find all that you need in order to sign up to this fine event which will be taking place from March 30th and April 1st. Sign up swim and drink wine.
