Hope you don't scare easy because there's an event that promises to raise the fur off your back. It's the 1st Annual Beary Scary Weekend which is going to take place in Palm Springs, CA from October 29th thru November 1st.

"A four day weekend leading up to the last gay pride of the year in the United States. Starting with the famous Bear Koffi on Thursday night, a costume contest and dance Friday evening at Fur Friday at Hunters Patio Bar and a late night after dark pool party, the spooky splash pool party on Saturday at The Canyon Club Resort & Hotel with a BBQ lunch, and pumpkin carving contest".

The guys who give us BEEF Mag (website - articles - profile) are inviting you to their upcoming event - 100% Beef Men's Weekend - which will be taking place in Palm Springs, California during Memorial Day Weekend, which means from May 22nd thru the 25th. From their site - We Got Your Beef - they have quite a few activities planned out, so head on over and from there you can make your plans and register for a weekend full of 'beefy' men.

Looks like a great time is being organized for this upcoming fall. It's called Blackfire Weekend '09 ~ a 4 day weekend which will be taking place in Palm Springs, CA from September 17th thru the 20th. There will be a tattoo pool party, a warehouse party, a bike run, cigars, pipes, tattoos, Harleys, hot men, bikers, and Bears.

ToolBeltBear (TubeBear profile) has sent in news that Maximus - the social gathering for cigar and pipe smokers -will be having their events in conjunction with LazyBear Holiday weekend (article). On November 23rd, they will be at the Chaps Inn Resort in Palm Springs, CA. On November 24th and 25th they will be at the Barracks Bar Patio in Cathedral City, CA. Also, they have created a Yahoo! groups mailing list called Maximus Cigar Men.

There's a coolio new online magazine entitled PSGrowler. Editor Terry Richards mentions that he's been wanting to make an online magazine for a long time and believes now is the time to do it. From the site: "My original thoughts were to put out a magazine centered around the Bear club but I think a broader perspective is needed... so this magazine is not centered around any club or event or venue. It is here for Bears from all over the world".

I am not sure when they had their event nor when their next one is planned, but what I do know is that the event is called the UncutBear Gathering Weekend, they had their very 1st gathering in Palm Springs, CA and from what they posted on their website, they had a real good time, so much so that they are planning another gathering in the spring.
