Everytime I mention GianOrso in the news, a thousand different praise words come to mind, such as; prodigy, excellence, beauty, style, master, professional, Bear goodness (that's 2 words), artistic, incredible... the list of words I can use can go on and on. GianOrso is just one great photographer and the photos he's taken of Bears over the years is just outstanding.
I have been graced simply by knowing this man. He and I have been in communication since '01 when he informed me that he was hoping to get his North American debut... and since then he has been an inspiration to all those who've seen his Bearish photos, making fans from all over the world.
I used to have a bunch of photos he sent me on Bear-Pics, and lately I've been bringing those photos over to PlanetBears. Today I put in almost 400 pics that he has sent me over the years, some you will not see anywhere else (and I'm also hoping he'll send more in the future).
You can view those he sent me in the GianOrso Gallery which is in the PlanetBears Galleries, and make sure to visit his website as well as his Flickr page. And if you care to send him a message like 'I'm not worthy, let me lick your boots', then check out his profile.
ps - that thumbnail - those 2 pics are both GianOrso... before and after the gray hair (wink).

Thousands of years ago, the very first civilization in written history was a nation ruled by Bears... ok maybe not, but wouldn't that have been cool? Fast forward to today and get ready for the Bears Empire, an event brought to you by the Good Bears. This is an event which will be taking place in Rome from January 1st thru the 6th of '09. What a better way to start the year than with some seriously hot Italian Bears?
From their most excellent site (which comes in many languages): "Bears Empire '09 promises to be a fun filled event with numerous activities such as: a disco party, Bear sauna, tours to visit ancient Rome, happy hour and group dinners for a week of total relaxation among the company of so many other Bears and hunters.
Rome is undoubtedly one of the most visited European cities and the first time you visit you’ll most certainly want to see the hundreds of monuments that make Rome such wonderful artistic city. Rome is also famous for its 'Notti Romane' or Roman nights. When the sun sets, the traffic that complicated the day disappears and the doors of nightlife and entertainment flood open. The possibilities for having fun and meeting new people are endless. The demand of tourists and foreign students who favour the night life at pubs, disco bars and nightclubs is really intense".

[Members ~ click here and here] Jacques aka PandaMontreal has been kind enough to share with a bunch of pics that were never posted here on PlanetBears. He sent in so many that I'm going to divide these updates, this being the 1st one (click here to see all of his photo sets in the PlanetBears' Galleries section - click here to see his TubeBear profile).
In this update, there's 2 sets. The 1st set Jacques calls it his 'Black & White' set; pics of him on a black chair in a white setting. At the end, I added some photos from his 'Dreamland' series; photos of him in bed surrounded by his collection of teddybears.
In the 2nd set, you get to marvel at the magical work of GianOrso (gallery - profile). the Italian GianOrso is truly a master photographer, and in my opinion he has taken some of the best photos ever of Bearish men found anywhere in this universe. Well GianOrso came to visit Canada a few years back and Jacques was fortunate enough to have a photo session with him. As a bonus, there's a bunch of 'behind the scenes' photos in which you get to see GianOrso photographing Panda.
In the next update, which will be in a couple of days, we will be posting Jacques' 'Sex-capade' set - a hot little jerk-off solo session.

Great news from Italy, photographer GianOrso has updated his website once again. He was also gracious enough to send in a few photos for us, so check them out here. GianOrso is truly one of the nicest guys in the universe, and his photography is inspiring and impeccable. He has, in the past, sent us pics from time to time, so check out some of the articles that have been written about him here. Visit his Flickr page as well as his profile on TubeBear.

I've been going thru my old bear-pics folders and I keep finding so many gems... especially photos sent in by Italian photographer GianOrso (website - TubeBear profile - articles). Only a few weeks ago I posted photos he sent in from a Calendar he worked on (photos here), and this time I found some great 'toga' party photos. There's quite a few of them (88 in all), so check them out here.

Here are some excellent photos taken by GianOrso (website - TubeBear profile), the well known Italian photographer sent me during the days when I was running bear-pics (the site before PlanetBears). These photos were taken for a calendar he was working on called 'Food 4 Bears' - some of these photos made the calendar, some are outtakes.
I gotta say, going through my old bear-pics folders is kicking up some nostalgia in me. Anyhow, enough about me, click here to enjoy this very cool set. Thanks GianOrso. Make sure to check out his website. The man is a genius when it comes to photography (and I was also graced by meeting him when he came to Canada).

Usually there's a month delay, sometimes 2, before the translated versions of Bear Degeneration are up and available on PlanetBears. However this time took us only 2 weeks to put up the latest episode. It's once again time we followed the adventures of the burly crew that makes up the Deep Dark Hole.
We are now at episode #7 when it comes to the English version. This time, Corporal Slutton landed on an unknown planet and his mission is to find his lost compatriots. He meets up with Reverend Beef who has completely changed his vows; since the only way to survive the Bearg attacks is by having hot and saucy male to male sex, Reverend Beef and his brothers have been indulging in a new form of prayer. Corporal Slutton becomes his captive and the Reverend takes it upon himself to save this Bear Cub's soul... and this is where we are at. To view the cartoon, click here, or if you would prefer to see it page by page: Page #1 - Page #2 - Page #3 - Page #4.
If this is your 1st time hearing about Bear Degeneration, the master mind behind these cartooned adventures is named Perdido (website - TubeBear profile - articles). He originally makes Bear Degeneration in Italian so if you can read that sexy language, click here to see all 16 episodes (Perdido just recently added a new episode on April 7th).
What Perdido and I (Forrest - TubeBear profile) have been doing is we've been translating them over to English. What Perdido does is that he sends them over in a rough English and I just do my best in smoothing out the dialogue (no I'm not able to read Italian but ever since I've been working on these cartoons I'm starting to understand the language a little bit, and since I know French the languages are kinda similar).
So... again... if you're new to Bear Degeneration, it's best if you start from the beginning - Episode #1 - Episode #2 - Episode #3 - Episode #4 - Episode #5 - Episode #6 - and in this update - Episode #7.

It's time to catch up on the latest adventures from the crew of Deep Dark Hole. It's the English episode #6 of Bear Degeneration by Perdido (website - Blog (Italian) - TubeBear profile - and if you can read Italian, then click here to see all 15 episodes).
So what's gone on... in the last episode, the crew had to make a quick getaway... real quick or else they would have melted like ice cream on a hot day. The doctor sent out a message into the dark letting the universe know that the only way to survive the Beargs was to have good old fashion sex with the closest Bear you can get grab your hands on. Once the message was sent, the ship they were on was set to self-destruct, so they made their quick getaway in a small spaceship... however the blast from the explosion did something that was before only proven in theory, and that was: they were shot into the future. Now their job was to see if anyone had survived the Bearg attack in the 8 years they lost.
And that brings us to Episode 6 - page #1 - page #2 - page #3 - page #4. Perdido is truly a professional cartoonist and Bear Degeneration is absolutely the best science-fiction Bear toon material anywhere in this universe.
If this is your 1st time hearing about Bear Degeneration, then it's best you start from the beginning - episode #1 - episode #2 - episode #3 - episode #4 - episode #5 - and of course today's edition - episode #6).

If you can read Italian, then simply skip this article and go straight to Perdido's Blogger page 'Per una Cultura degli Orsi' - a blog in which you will find his incredible cartoon strip entitled Bear Degeneration. Perdido's cartoon is about a few husky hairy men who are out to save the universe by having sexual intercourse with those of the same sex. This is the only way to ward off the Bearg.
Now if you cannot read Italian, then this article is for you. Perdido has been translating his cartoon into English with a little help from yours truly, and today we have episode #5 for you (we're catching up... slowly but surely). In this episode things go haywire as the crew of Deep Dark Hole get shot deeper into space and time, finding they have unwillingly traveled into the future. To read the latest episode, go here - (or by each individual page - page #1 - page #2 - page #3 - page #4).
If this is your 1st time hearing about Bear Degeneration, then it's best you start from the beginning - episode #1 - episode #2 - episode #3 - episode #4 - and today's addition episode #5).
From more of Perdido - check out his webpage - the front page of his blog (in Italian) and his TubeBear profile.

GianOrso has updated - visit his site
GianOrso.com and peruse his ever extending galleries of extremely good looking men he photographs. His work is so classy, he's like the Sergio Leone of Bear photographers (Spaghetti Bear Westerns). His latest photo shoot is on a lonely beach with an incredibly good looking guy by the name of Gerardo. And while you're at it, visit his Flickr page

A very happy birthday is going out to GianOrso (website - TubeBear profile), the very well known Italian photographer who has taken some of the most beautiful pics of some of the most handsome Bearish men on this planet.
Now a good friend of his, Jacques, aka PandaMontreal (website - TubeBear profile - gallery) is very 'up' on anniversaries. For Jacques, birthdays are very important, so much so that he wrote a little ode to GianOrso for his birthday. Click here to read what Jacques wrote to GianOrso while checking out some shots of this equally handsome photographer (the pics of GianOrso were taken by Lupercus). Hugz and happy bday, Gianni.

It's time to catch up with the adventures of Puzuk, Turk and Slutton as they do battle against a terrible foe known as the Bearg. The adventure is called Bear Degeneration and its creator is the very good looking Perdido (website - TubeBear profile).
Now if you can read Italian then head on over to Perdido's Woof Blog page and you'll be able to enjoy 13 excellently drawn episodes, however if your Italian is as good as mine, then how about we take you all the way back to episode #2 which we just finished translating from Italian to English: page #1 - page #2 - page #3 - page #4 (go here for all 4 pages). And if this is your 1st time reading about Bear Degeneration, then make sure to read episode #1 beforehand.
I'm helping Perdido with the translations and it's turning out to be a very enjoyable process, especially since the story - as well as the drawings - are top notch. Stay tuned for episode #3 which we will most likely get to you in a week or 2.

GianOrso is reloaded! Head on over to his recently updated website, and to see more of this handsome talented photographer, head on over to his TubeBear profile. From GianOrso: "Comments, point of views, suggestions, critics... any feedback is welcomed. Enjoy the view. Commenti, punti di vista, suggerimenti, critiche... Qualsiasi contributo è benvenuto". I feel so hot and sexy when I copy and paste Italian text.

Now there is really no information at all about the artist over at the Viste Bear site, yet if there is a link to who the artist is, I just wasn't able to find it because the only Italian I know is ravioli, however the artwork over on this site is top notch, especially if you dig muscular Bearish men, soldiers and a bit of SM (mostly whipping and bondage). Galleries of MuscleBears and military men is what you'll find.

A little Pic of the Day from GianOrso (website - TubeBear profile). Ok so maybe the last time I posted a 'Pic of the Day' was a very long time ago... many many days ago... ok many many weeks ago (months ago...?), but there was a time I used to actually post a new pic every day (or at least every other day). Who knows, maybe I'll start it up again, starting today.
GianOrso is my #1 Italian photographer, and he's cute too. Here's a pic of me (Forrest ~ TubeBear profile) and him when he came to Montreal.

Head on over to the vibrating Bears in Rome webpage to find out what Italian Bears do for fun once they get together. It's a great lively site, all in Italian, but who needs to know the language to enjoy all the pics they have in their gallery. There are other cool pages like their music and cinema links including others but I'm not sure what they are since it's all in Italian, but that won't take away the fact that Italian husky men have always turned me on.
Mark your calendar ~ Woof Party on June 15th ~ "The biggest Bear Dance Party in Rome".

My Italian is non existent, however, from what I was able to translate from their site, there's a run called Bears on the Beach which is taking place in Italy from June 29th thru July 1st. From what I can tell, they will be splitting up their time between the beach and the bars. Now I tried to figure out exactly where all this is taking and my best guess is that it's near the city of Pisa. Wherever these guys will be, I'm sure the sites will be excellent.
