Nard (TubeBear profile) along with his superhero sidekick Ray (TubeBear profile) broadcasted their show BearPodCast (articles) live at BearWatch (website - TubeBear 'PRO' profile - articles) in Galveston, TX.

BearPodCast was using TubeBear's livestreaming connection in order to broadcast. If you're interested in going live, contact us (email - form). It's very simple to setup and we'll broadcast you from our site as well as on your site.

Here's a follow up from the live broadcast show that we featured here on TubeBear over the weekend. The show involved Nard (TubeBear profile) of BearPodCast, along with his buddy Ray aka HouBearDad (TubeBear profile). They were doing their show live from Texas Bear Round Up ~ click here to listen to that podcast. Well we were able to stream half of the show but the hotel in which they were staying was having major packet loss - which means the hotel kept losing the connection, so about midway we were no longer able to broadcast. Nevertheless, we are hoping to do this again in May with BearWatch (article) which will be taking place in Galveston, TX from May 16th thru the 18th. Nard is going to try and broadcast again, so let's hope there won't be any packet losses from their host hotel.

Also - if you have an event and you would like to broadcast, then make sure to contact us. We can help you set up your own live feed from your event, and what's even greater is that we can have it set up from your website as well. So not only will you be broadcasting from TubeBear but you will also be streaming from your homepage. Sounds like fun? Time to shine those boots spotless, buzz that hair down to a bristle and stand at attention because this year's BearWatch is all about Booty Camp. This is their 9th BearWatch and it will be taking place in Galveston, TX from May 16th thru the 18th.

The following description of the event is from their chairman, Patrick Gay: "The Corps has done an outstanding job this year readying the barracks, mess hall, and shore leave for all you hot Bears, Chasers, Cubs, Admirers, and anyone else who likes a man in uniform. The Inn at the Waterpark in Galveston, Texas will be affectionately dubbed Fort Booty. The hotel rate is the same as last year ($89.95/night) and they are taking reservations now!

New this year is the Groove Bar - our new host bar. It promises to be even better than before - with more free time to meet a soldier or four to take back to your bunk. The pool will be open for business on Friday night and you'll be able to take your own drinks Friday and Saturday nights. Oh... and there'll be a soldier manning the hospitality suite where you can pick up a drink, watch a few minutes (or more) of some grade A adult movie entertainment, and who knows, maybe even torpedo a Rear Admiral, if you are lucky!

Of course, we'll do our best to fatten you up with breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. On Saturday afternoon, we're off to the beach for a little RnR where you can see all those scantily-clad furry men, bathing in the sun and having a drink or nine. Come on down to Galveston and show us your Booty".

It's going to be a 'White Trash Weekend' from May 18th thru the 20th for those who plan on attending BearWatch 8 in Galveston, Texas. Head on over to BearWatch.net, listen to their trashy commercials (#1 & #2), create a profile by registering with them and this way you'll be able to keep in the loop with other trashy Bears who plan on going. Honestly, this looks like a fun event, I mean, just take a look at what they plan on doing. From their site: "This year's games will include various farm-themed contests. Think of it, grown, furry men mooing like cows or oinking like pigs – what could be more hilarious?! How about a burping contest or a daisy dukes contest, maybe eating doughnuts suspended in air without using your hands!".

oh... and moo...

Lastly, check out their tshirts - you get to fill in the thought bubble. Love it. Now what would you write in your bubble in order to attract some cute trashy Bear...?
