Richard Cooey is not too fat to be executed. Awhile back (article), PlanetBears mentioned that death row inmate Richard Cooey was making a plea that he was too fat to be executed for a double murder he committed over 22 years ago. At 5'7 and 267 pounds, he was worried that they will not be able to execute him properly due to bad veins from his obesity. His plea, however, was not accepted and Cooey was executed as scheduled, so says this CNN story.

You know you're cursed when... a lot of the guys you find attractive turn out to be murderers, pedophiles, freaks or thieves. In this case, you can't help but notice that Saddam Hussein was once a very charismatic dictator (he kind of had the same look as Stalin in some ways). However, Hussein is nothing more than a memory now that they executed him - they put a rope around his neck and now he is no more. I'm not sure but there's something missing in the message when we kill those who kill others. I think we're missing the point. Instead of killing the bastards, I think we should send them to some island or - once technology permits - to another planet where all murderers and pedophiles fend for themselves (I'm sure there's a few movies out there like that). Also, I would get to be warden of this planet or island and all good looking evil inmates would be reminded every day why they were there... from me... hahah I'm evil. Anyhow, salut Hussein, now I'm sure Bush is gonna be hiding out of fear because you can never just hang one neck, now can ya?
