More news from Spanish artist Daniel, creator of Sinister Bears (website - articles - TubeBear). Daniel is working on his Zodiac series, with the dozen images representing the different façades of Gay people with much of it slanted to Bear culture (Leather, Dads, Polar Bears).

He recently held a poll on his blog asking which Zodiacs his viewers wanted to see first, and from this he's posted 3 of them and the rest he will be posting soon (and he promised me that Libra is very cool - that being my sign). And the best part of all of this is that he'll be having an exposition in Madrid, Spain soon to show off all of his talented works.

Every now and then I receive some photos and even videos from some interesting websites. This time I received some from Daddy Action, it's a set of photos of Ben & Jerry (I do not make these things up), which you can see from their TubeBear profile, and for a couple of videos, you can grab them here (video #1 - video #2). Since there are 2 videos, their updates were in 2 parts, yet I am placing both of them together. The following is from Daddy Action "In part 1, Daddy Jerry and admirer Ben make out poolside before going into the bedroom for some hot and heavy action. If you're a Bear lover then you have surely heard of CyberBears; "Ken Slater and his partner, Mike Zillion, started the company in 2002 with a simple gallery website of Bear photography, but they had a vision of sharing the real beefy Bears they love with the adult world. CyberBears now manages a complete family of websites, offering fans of Daddy Bears, Latin Bears, Bear Cubs, and more; over 400 new original Bear pictures every week" (from Ken's site).

Every now and then, CyberBears sends in a few previews. You can see some of them here on PlanetBears or check out their TubeBear profile. Personally, what I like about CyberBears is that they find guys that I find really cute. Their models remind me of those from BearFilms, yet CyberBears will also take pics of some of the bigger, huskier, chubbier Bears, again guys I find attractive.

There's a new paysite on the internet block and it's called Daddy Action. It's all about the Dads getting it on with their younger admirers and essentially just doing the nasty. Browsing through the list of Dads they've modeled, some of them are really hotalicious (I just invented that). It's a well known fact that the Bear world and the Leather world are, if anything, kissing cousins. The Bear community party sprung from the leather community back in the 80s... and tell me you do not get hard anytime you see some hot Daddy Bear all leathered up...?

But did you know there was actually a Leather Archives and Museum? Since '91 in Chicago. From their site: "In August 1991, the LA&M was incorporated in the state of Illinois. From that date until May 1993, the Leather Archives was, in effect, an idea struggling to take form. In '93, '94 and 95, the LA&M existed as a growing collection and appeared in public only as exhibits at International Mr. Leather in Chicago (plus a couple of abortive attempts to appear on the road). In fact, most members of the Leather Communities of the world - even in North America - were still unaware of the LA&M. In '96, a storefront home for the LA&M was opened in Chicago. Much larger exhibits were mounted in this space, but the collection outgrew the space very rapidly.

In July '97, Joseph W. Bean arrived to take on the job of Executive Director of the LA&M. Within three months, he had started a series of changing exhibits and proposed to the Board of Directors a capital campaign to raise funds to buy a building. The capital campaign was announced in December of '97, and met with immediate success.

The LA&M moved into its permanent home in late '99. The 10,000 sq. foot building provided for exhibits and the effective storage of the ever-growing collection of leather history. In January of '02, Joseph Bean retired from the LA&M, and then volunteer Rick Storer was hired to continue the work started by Bean and the entire leather community. In August of '04, the leather community made a $225,000 balloon payment to pay off the mortgage of the LA&M. Also during '04, the exhibit space was expanded from one 2,000 sq. foot gallery to a full building tour of eight galleries".
