Some websites are very generate, like the site Butch Dixon. This attractive British webpage has been sending us free pics to share, so we're sharing right along side with them. This time they sent us some pics of this really cute Bear Cub by the name of Mike who's hanging out in the office. Sometimes when I come upon a site I have never seen before, it's like discovering an uncharted island... like I just found a map for a treasure trunk... And sometimes I feel like... how come I wasn't invited to this party? How long has this site been around and nobody bothered to tell me...

ok... enough about what I feel - here's a site I recently stumbled upon and said 'wow...' (and I don't give out wow's all that freely). It's called The Bad Cub Club and it's WordPress blog but 'wow' what a blog (I just wow'ed again). Now there's a fine line between what's a Cub and what's a Bear, however the men on this site all have that husky goodness about them, so call them Cubs or Bears or even young Daddies... whatever... just give me more of their wholesome good looks. One site to definitely bookmark ~ twice even ~ or 3 times - in IE, FireFox and Chrome.

There is a new bar opening up this weekend in Montreal (Quebec, Canada). It's called Woof Bistro and the doors are opening on Friday, June 20th at 5PM. As they state on their site, it's "Happy Hour for all the Bears and friends". At 10PM the DJ will be showing up. On Sunday there is comedy night.

Digging through my archives I found that there were a couple of photo sets that I did with Steve, aka MogwaiCub (Gallery) that I didn't add to the PlanetBear's Gallery page.

These sets are old, from November '02, and I remember the little camera I used for these pictures... or most specifically... I remember I was very limited on the amount of kb space I had on the memory cards that came with the camera, and these being outdoor sets, I had to lower the resolution a little. Still, they are fun sets, and I added one online for the public - view it here - and there's a set in the members section - so members, go here (it's a bondage set in the woods).

ps - I have no clue where Steve is today. I know he wanted to go to Japan to teach English as a 2nd language, but that was 5 years ago. Steve and I worked together 2 times and he used to like to say that we need to work together 1 more time to complete the trilogy. That might be too much 'The Lord of the Rings' talking, but it would be great to see Steve today... see what he looks like.

BearVideos.com is one of the sites that is part of PPVNetworks (PPV stands for pay per view). What's cool about this site is that you pay for what you want to see rather than paying and getting movies you don't want. You choose your movie and you stream it with the option of downloading it. There's a lot of movies to choose - from Cubs to Bears to Chubs - so you're sure to find one or two that will tickle your fanny (I know it's fancy, I'm just trying to be creative here).

How did I spend Xmas Eve last year... I invited Eric Z (gallery) and his partner David (gallery - TubeBear profile) and we worked on a short little movie about s certain Santa that's into bondage, bad Cubs mixed in with a whole lot of old Xmas songs. The result was a 5 minute video entitled Planet of the Santa Bear Clawz & Cub. I think my favourite reply to it so far has been "Santa doesn't smoke! Ugh... worst use of Christmas music ever...".
