How to make someone's day... or week... or even better... how to make someone's entire life drawn by cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile) of Bear With Me. To understand what I'm talking about, check out the latest strip.

From Bruin: "The current episode features the strips favorite kid sister, Mo, as Andy approaches her with a job offer she can't refuse. Knowing how naturally industrious she is (read: hyperactive), Andy will do well with Mo looking over the day-to-day functions of the Phoenix Center as well as having a personal assistant. What could possibly cast a pall over such an ideal arrangement? Stay tuned. Sparks will fly".

Monday updates over at Bear With Me. The following cartoon synopsis is from artist Bruin (TubeBear profile): "Constance continues her discussion with Father O'Toole in which she reveals that Andy is rather enigmatic to her. It seems she's done everything right, so why hasn't Andy turned out the way she expected?  What are the influences in Andy's life that Constance can't anticipate or control?

Like most parents, Constance is asking the wrong question.  It's not 'What did I do wrong?', but rather 'Is my child a good person?'.  Andy could easily have become an elitist snob like his mother, but is instead directing his fortune and energies to bettering the LGBT community where he lives. The fact that he's found love in the process is an unexpected bonus.

Will Father O'Toole help redirect Constance's focus? Will Constance give up her efforts to break up Andy and Paul? Will monkeys fly out of her butt? Stay tuned, gentle readers!".

Now if you've ever been curious to see a recent picture of cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile), creator of Bear With Me, then click here and you'll see him along with a small clan of equally good looking men who make up what is known as the Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus. These 25 gents make up the gay-friendly men's chorus for Madison, the capital of Wisconsin.

PHMC has recently released a CD of their 10th anniversary concert which was held this past summer. On this CD you even get to hear a little solo from Bruin in the arrangement of 'Everything Possible'. Proceeds from the sales of this CD will help finance PHMC's trip to GALA which will be held in Miami in July.

The following is from Bruin (TubeBear profile), creator of the popular cartoon Bear With Me: "Why is it that Constance's plans never work out the way she anticipates? Seems the entire tryst with Ed was her attempt to show, by a kind of parallel example, that Andy and Paul were ill-suited for each other. Now she's learning that there may be additional consequences to her actions. The lesson to all of us: Put a rubber on it every time".

Ok so it looks like I'm once again late with the news about Bruin's (TubeBear profile) cartoon Bear With Me which he updates every Monday. Nevertheless, head on over to his page to check up on the latest from Andy and his gang. This week we're seeing Constance's true colours. The following is from Bruin about his update: "In this episode, the Constance we know and love to hate is back with a vengeance. She doesn't just drop Ed, she drop-kicks him a good 40 meters. Why she took up with him in the first place remains a mystery, but should be revealed in the near future... at least to the gentle readership".

Wow am I ever late with this update... so much so that I should have updated this almost a week ago. My excuse is that I have been in the process of moving into a new home and last week everything got finalized which means I have been pretty negligent when it came to updates. However, the move is over and things are settling down which means I will be back on track when it comes to updates.

Better late than never, check out the latest Bear With Me episode, a cartoon drawn by Bruin (TubeBear profile). I really cannot believe that Constance slept with Ed in order to try and convert her son into heterosexuality, but we will only find out the reasons tomorrow as Bruin updates his cartoon diligently every Monday.

The following is from Bruin (TubeBear profile), the cartoonist for the weekly Bear With Me: "This week, after apologizing to Ed for his emotional outburst, Andy asks some tough questions that get to the heart of the Ed/Constance hook-up: is Ed, indeed Gay? How did all this happen? Why would Ed pick Constance?

Inevitably, Andy gets far more information that he's comfortable with, but when one plays with fire, one should expect to get burned. Stay tuned, because Andy is likely to seek out Constance's views on the relationship. What is the likelihood she and Ed will seethe relationship headed in the same direction?".

Sometimes it's just best said by the artist himself. The following is from Bruin (TubeBear profile), the one and only cartoonist for Bear With Me:

"In last week's episode, Andy went totally ballistic, and actually struck Ed. This week, Andy is still blowing his top, but Constance steps in to set her son straight. Once Andy's tirade is interrupted, things calm down pretty quickly, but this entire incident may haunt Andy for quite a while. Ed and Constance? Who could've foreseen such an odd pairing? Will it last? What will Andy make of this relationship? Will Constance give up the high life to become a bar maid? Will Ed have to trade in his bar vest for a three-piece suit? Stay tuned, gentle readers".

Monday morning madness for many of you hot looking executive Bears... looking all snazzy in your tailor made business suits... and it's just possible that your suit is a size too small because you're refining into a husky Bear, so that suit just bulges on you, as if your body were about to burst out of it and...

Holy cow... where is my head... it's Monday and that means it's time to quickly head over to Bear With Me, a weekly cartoon drawn by Bruin (TubeBear profile). Things have not only heated up over there but looks like things have turned for the worse. Andy becoming violent...? One must stay tuned.

The following is from cartoonist, Bruin "The fur is flying in Andy's world, and Constance is being surprisingly forthright in explaining her activities. Apparently, her new-found candor isn't the only thing that has changed, and it's not going over well with Andy. Things get even more complicated once Ed re-enters the picture. Oh, the drama! ...and where did Andy get those gloves all-of-a-sudden?".

In the past few weeks, things have been a bit surreal over at Bear With Me. Now for those who do not know what 'Bear With Me' is, it's a cartoon which is updated every Monday, and it's now reached the level of 'soap opera' for me as I need to find out what's going to happen next. In this week's update, it's confirmed to me that nobody is dreaming and Ed the supposedly gay Bear bartender actually swept Constance off her feet and... slept with her - Constance being the mother of Andy, Andy being the hero of Bear With Me (he's more of an anti-hero)... phew... anyhow... if you've never seen the cartoon, start with #1 and watch the evolution. Guaranteed you'll get hooked.

And it's 2 for 1 Monday as Bruin also updated his Bear Crossing cartoon which he creates exclusively for the Four Lake Bears, a Bear group in Madison, Wisconsin.

Time to head on over to the wonderful drawn world known as Bear With Me, a cartoon done by Bruin (TubeBear profile).

The last time we left them, it seems that Mo ~ Forrest's sister ~ reconciled with her brother Forrest and that everyone else seems pretty happy as well; Andy is crazy in love with Paul, the Phoenix bar is going great, and Forrest's business is now on tract (thanks to Mo). Yes, all is well in 'Bear With Me' land... well all was going well... up until Andy's mother - Constance - showed up. Now whenever she does show up, sparks fly, and that's exactly what was happening in this latest cartoon - her and Ed were spitting and spatting back and forth... until the unexpected happened. It's kind of like 'Bear With Me' entered the Twilight Zone. Truly, I have no clue what is going on nor where this 'new situation' between the very rich Constance and bar owner Ed is going to lead. I guess I'm just going to have to wait until next week.

Another article about cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile) ~ that's 2 articles in a row... what can I say, the man is important to me.

Anyhow... I was checking out the little 'shout-outs' on the Inside Bear website and I read a posting from Bruin saying that his Bear Crossing had been updated. 'Bear Crossing...?' I thought to myself... 'what in the heck was that?'. So I did a quick Googlin' and there it was - Bear Crossing, a cartoon that Bruin does exclusively for the Four Lake Bears, a group of Bearish guys from and about Madison, the capital of Wisconsin. The cartoons are uber cute and it seems that he adds a new one every month. It's now another page for me to bookmark.

Ok so we're Wednesday, but you should know by now that cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile) updates his Bear With Me cartoon every Monday... and the past few months the story has been all about Mo, Forrest's young sister ~ about her woes of not finding a suitably straight boyfriend, of not having the career she intends to have, of not fitting in... however I feel there's closure with Mo's woes in this recent strip... we'll see. I'm curious to know what's happening with Andy and Paul... they fell in love and we haven't heard much from them ever since... yes, I follow 'Bear With Me' religiously ~ just like an old lady who watches her soaps during the day.

Ok so it's Thursday and I usually post news about Bear With Me on Monday, however, unlike cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile), I - webguy Forrest (TubeBear profile) am tardy sometimes. The beauty of Bruin is he's always faithful with a new Bearish comic strip every Monday. In this week's update, it seems he has implicated himself within the strip... which reminds me of one of his priors cartoons in which Bruin actually drew himself in the toon...

It's Monday which means it's time to head on over to that ever colourful cartoon world known as Bear With Me. Here's what cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile) has to say about the recent issue: "Well, Mo has calmed down a bit, but that's not the same as saying that Mo is keeping still. She may seem to be a laid-back Southern Belle, but Ms Lawn makes the hyper-active seem sluggish. If Forrest's cab company isn't enough to keep her occupied, what will?  Stay tuned". After I read today's Bear With Me, I realize it takes me like a half an hour to get a cup of tea ready. How the heck can some people accomplish so much in a day which takes others weeks to finish... sigh... maybe in some upcoming issue, Mo will show us her secrets for being so efficient. I'm staying tuned.

Monday... turn off alarm... shuffle to washroom... shower... shave (ok - skip the shaving)... make lunch... dress... get ready to go to work... check emails... read Bear With Me. From Bruin (TubeBear profile) on this week's cartoon: "Mo unloads some of her loneliness and frustration on Ed, who proves to be a discreet confidant, providing a strong shoulder on which to cry. At one time or another we've all needed  an understanding ear, someone to whom we can vent, kvetch or simply bounce ideas off of.  Fortunately, Ed is an old hand at this, but Mo brings out his paternal aspect and thus he offers more than a simple nod and 'uh-huh' during a lull in the conversation. Obviously, Mo is quickly becoming a part of the BWM family". And... this is one of the funniest cartoons I've seen in awhile as well. You should be bookmarking Bear With Me since Bruin updates the site every Monday. When is the TV series of Bear With Me coming out is what I want to know...

Who better to talk to you when it feels like life just sucks huge? The cute bartender at your local Bear bar, that's who. And it looks like the little red headed Mo is going to possibly dish out her whole rotten life to Ed, co-owner of the Phoenix over at Bear With Me. From Bruin, the cartoonist (his TubeBear profile): "Like brother, like sister? Well, there's no denying that Mo follows her brother's format for lodging a complaint, but it sounds like Forrest's sister is about to drop an entire boatload in Ed's lap. Can Ed deal with the deluge? Does he have any advice to give to Mo? Will he simply pass it all off on Forrest? For the answer to these and other burning questions, stay tuned to Bear With Me".

It's Monday which means it's a real good time to head on over to Bear With Me since cartoonist Bruin (TubeBear profile) updates his excellent cartoon on this day.

Awhile back, Forrest was having a small breakdown while trying to take care of his cab business. He called his sister Mo to come in and give him a hand, and she did. Actually she's been doing a real good job. So Forrest is all happy and life is good for him again, but now his sister seems to be having the blues. Now we're not going to find out why she's down and out until the next update, but my guess is that she's in need of some loving, but that's just a stipulation. Read the cartoon and you try and guess why she's got a real long face.
