Have you ever heard of The Homosexuals...? I haven't, not until recently, however they have been around for a heck of a long time as they have been an influential British punk band since 1972... and they are still punking it out. They aren't well known since they haven't released much until recently. They have one studio album as well as a compilation 3 CDs which consists of the body of their work. The singer is a wee bit out there... yet one is supposed to be a bit 'off...' if you're a singer in a punk band; it's the beauty of that art. Yet these guys differ because they are talented punks, whereas talent isn't always a requirement when one sings in a punk bank. These guys play some complicated riffs, and there are some seriously catchy lines to sing along to. Also, there is one guitarist in the band who's Bearishly chunkily huskily cute. (galleries - profile) for pointing these guys out to me. He knows I'm a fan of offbeat music, a fan of punk as well, and it's a shame I didn't know about these guys when I was a little punker back in 77 (at age 10) when I was bopping about to The Ramones, The Stranglers and Sex Pistols, because I've been listening to The Homosexuals and I'm liking it.

Some websites are very generate, like the site Butch Dixon. This attractive British webpage has been sending us free pics to share, so we're sharing right along side with them. This time they sent us some pics of this really cute Bear Cub by the name of Mike who's hanging out in the office. There's some excellent stuff going on over FunFur.tv (articles - TubeBear profile). There's a brand new movie they made entitled 'BSI - Bear Scene Investigation': "This is the Bears take on CSI - there's a murder at the foam party... who's to blame...?". The movie runs over 7 minutes and they are simply asking $1 to download it which is a super deal since this looks like another one of FunFur's classic flix. There's also a new forum for you to chit chat on.

There's a new website for British Bears and it's called Bear Central. There's just starting out so give them a bit of time but it looks like it has a ton of potential. List your Bear club, add your link, there's a chat and a place to shop.

Over at FunFur.tv, they believe that "the future's big. The future's hairy!" which is one fine motto. This is one site you're just going to love. It has a ton of short video clips filled with British humour with the actors being some very good looking husky British Bears. There are also a few clips which border on Bear documentary yet are equally entertaining.

Right now they have some new videos up from Brighton Pride. In order to view the clips, you need to register which is free and fast and view them from the web, and now you can even buy their clips at a single dollar apiece, download them and watch them anytime you want.

Head on over to BearWest, a British online magazine for Bears in the South and West of England that are looking for things to do. Steve the webmaster in informing us that their TravelBear section is now all in place with a new special feature called 'Paws Across The Pond which is, as he explains it 'West Coast UK meets West Coast USA and explored California.
