[Members - click here] In this update, I added 3 videos of Roger (gallery - profile) from his collection. Once again, these are videos that were made with BearFoot.com in mind (previous update), however we realized we didn't have the manpower to work on BearFoot as well as PlanetBears and TubeBear, so all the videos that we shot for BearFoot are slowly making their way over to the PlanetBears Video page.

They are short videos of Roger in bondage - hogtied - leather restraints - hand and leg cuffs - blindfolded. There's a bit of tickling and tugging, and in one of the video, his boyfriend (that's me - Bob Forrest) decides to take advantage of the situation that Roger is tied up so I chew on his feet. Even tied down, he puts up a hell of a fight, and he's got strong legs. Unfortunately this video of Roger and I is a bit short, however we will definitely work on others if there is an interest.

Roger ~ 50th Anniversary Share, RSS
Thursday, April 23, 2009

My partner, Roger (galleries - profile) turned 50. It has been a very busy couple of weeks for Roger 'n I, Bob (profile). At first I didn't plan a thing. We said we'll just up north for his birthday and relax by the lake. But then I got to talking to some of his family members about a potential party, so I began organizing one for him.

Initially, I was just going to invite his family, but then I started invited some of Roger's longtime friends. I then asked my buddy Eric (galleries - profile) if he'd be interested in cooking. Finally, I invited my family as well. So what was going to be a small party at first, well, we ended up with quite a few people.

I also got the idea of making a movie about Roger's life. This took up all my time for a full week (gathering the photos and the videos then narrating the whole thing... in French no less). I finished the movie just in time, and wow did everyone like it. One has to delegate quite carefully when one talks about 'Bearhood' to family... and in-laws as well...! But that's how Roger and I met - thru the internet. He came to have his pictures taken and the rest is history.

Well the movie was well received, and seeing everyone enjoying the flick was definitely a highlight for me, however there were quite a few 'great' moments that evening. There was an incredible cake made by his best friend Marie, and Eric had made the best 5 course meal I had ever seen and tasted (and I believe it was the best 5 course meal for many of our guests there as well). Everyone just loved the meal.

And lastly, we all chipped in and got Roger a gift - a gift certificate for RONA (the Canadian version of Home Hardware). Since Roger is doing a ton of renovations to his homes, it was the smartest gift I could think of.

All in all, it was a very good time, but just planning this event and making the movie took me away from pretty much everything. I haven't updated the site in over 10 days, however things are back to normal, so it's back to work, and I'm catching up.

So happy birthday once again, my handsome Roger. You look hotter every day.

[Members - click here] Roger (galleries - profile) and I (Bob - profile) were planning on opening up another site - BearFoot. The site was pretty much ready to go however we realized that neither of us had the time to dedicate to another website.

Altho we didn't open the site, the good news is that we did take a lot of pictures and videos for BearFoot. I have already added many of the photos (which you can see here on PlanetBears in Roger's section of the Galleries), however now I am starting to go thru all of the videos that we did. And what I have decided to do is to add a new short video every now and then to the PlanetBears' Video page, so if you're a foot lover, or if you're a fan of Roger, then these little videos should be a treat (and if you're a fan of Roger's feet - well it's almost like winning the jackpot).

This is the 1st in the BearFoot series, and I will try to add a new one as often as possible. Now these videos do not focus solely (souly?) on Roger's feet; you will get to see a lot of Roger as well, however the general theme is Roger's feet... you get the idea. In today's video, you will see me tie Roger's ankles, then his knees, then his toes. It's 9 and a 1/2 minutes long. In the next one video I will add, Roger will be tied up again, and I tickle him by chewing on his meaty dogs. Keep an eye out for that one.

Party Bearotica ~ Pics Share, RSS
Friday, April 3, 2009

Last weekend, the Montreal based 'Woof Bar & Bistro' (website - articles) had their very first 'Party Bearotica', and TubeBear was there to capture the whole thing on digital celluloid.

The place was packed with some truly incredible good looking men, and since Woof bar is catering to the Bear community, there were some really really hot guys there that night. Alongside all the goodness, there were some pretty neat shows. They had an underwear modeling show and an S&M show. There was also a vernissage and there was a booth in which people could get free tattoos.

I (Bob Forrest - profile) had a corner by the DJ booth and my partner Roger (galleries - profile) was there to help me for the evening. The biggest surprise for me was seeing Frank aka aBearLover2 (galleries - profile) who came up from New Jersey (Frank was one of the first guys I photographed). Frank whooped it up like it was the end of ages, dancing away in his red jockstrap. I was livestreaming the event for TubeBear so all those who were logged in got to see Frank's super freaky disco moves.

There was also Jacques aka PandaMontreal (galleries - profile) who got himself a tattoo, and altho I didn't see them for very long, I saw Eric Z. (galleries - profile) and his buddy Dave aka Cumalotts (galleries - profile). However, I didn't get to talk to anyone for too long as I was also filming the event alongside the livestreaming. I still have to sort thru the video yet I should hopefully have some footage online soon.

Click here to see some pictures from the event. I didn't have the time to take pictures myself, so some of the credit goes to Jacques and some to Eric for sending in these photos. However, if you would like to see more photos from this event, check out photographer Ryan Lee's website for plenty of photos from Party Bearotica.

Owner of the bar Paul Blouin (profile) is informing us that he plans on hosting 'Party Bearotica' twice a month - every other Saturday. One of the Saturdays will be opened to the public while the other will be a private party (to get coupons, email Paul or pick them up at the bar).

[Members - click here] Roger (profile) has been a huge source of inspiration for me, and it's official, there are more photos of Roger on PlanetBears than any other Bear (it was Sylvain aka TeddyBear (galleries) who had the most pics with 1139 pics yet Roger now has 1315 photos).

These photos were taking during the fall of 2007 and they have never been online anywhere, not here nor on the now defunct BearFoot. In this update there are 4 new sets with over 200 pics. Also, there is an emphasis on Roger's feet. This is because back in 2007, Roger and I were working on BearFoot, but we realized that running a 3rd site (BearFoot, PlanetBears and TubeBear) was just too much work. Nevertheless, we did a lot of the legwork for BearFoot and we took a lot of photos of Roger barefoot, bound... a lot of close-ups and different angled shots focusing on his feet.

That being said, there's also a lot of full body shots, and I added a set of what I consider some of the best photos of Roger that I ever took - him on a beach in beautiful Charlevoix, Quebec.

I still have a ton more pics to add of Roger which I'll be doing soon, including more videos, so make sure to keep an eye out on the updates here often. As for today's updates, here are the photo sets: #1 Laptop - #2 Rolling Pennies - #3 Beach - #4 Rope Play I.

[Pics here from Mr. Ottawa Bear] Last weekend, The Ottawa Bears organized an excellent weekend of serious fun with a ton of truly good looking Bears showing up. Altho there were activities all weekend long, we were only able to make it for the contest ~ Mr. Ottawa Bear, and we took a bunch of pics. And congratulations go to Gary for taking the title.

So... Roger (galleries - profile) and I (Bob - profile) made our way over to the capital of Canada so as to be part of a great evening. We first went over to Eric's (galleries - profile) for supper, and altho we were on time, Eric said the show won't start until a little later... so... we showed up late. We missed the beginning, however we were there when they called the winner, and we were able to get some great photos in.

I met some new people and I lined up some photo shoots so that was excellent. I also saw some friends I hadn't seen in awhile, guys that have modeled for me in the past, like Shawn (galleries - profile) who was Mr. Ottawa Bear '08 and handed the title over to Gary. There was Ben Goodman (galleries - profile) who entered the contest and was a runner up. I also saw Richard (galleries - profile) and Daniel (galleries).

Just the other day (article) I mentioned that the Ottawa Bears are having their Mr. Ottawa Bear (MOB) contest which will be taking place in the capital of Canada... that is Ottawa... at the Swizzles bar on January 17th, which is tomorrow (Saturday). I also mentioned that Shawn (profile) will be stepping down as MOB '08, the same Shawn whom I took pictures of with his partner Warren (galleries here).

Well it looks like Roger (galleries - profile) and I (Bob - profile) are going to be at the event to take some pictures and possibly film some of it, and we will be going with Eric Z (galleries - profile). So if you're going to be there, come on over and say hi. Should be a good time.

[Members - click here] It had been so long since I had last seen David (galleries - profile) and Eric Z. (galleries - profile) together. It had been almost 2 years. Lots of changes for everyone since then. I had moved out of my house and fell in love with Roger (galleries - profile), Eric had sold his home as well and now lives in a flat in Ottawa. And David is working at a Big 'n Tall in Albany, NY and he's making plans on moving here to Canada, which will go thru soon for him.

So last weekend, Roger 'n I (Bob Forrest - profile) went on over to Ottawa for the day, and altho our visit was short and sweet, we did manage to snap over a hundred photos of this cute couple. You'll also see a few photos of Roger, however Roger took a lot of the shots while I filmed David and Eric.

I am right now working on that video. You'll be seeing a bit of sensuality, a bit of sex, a bit of bondage and a bit of tickling... actually quite a bit of tickling. I will have this clip done in a few days and will post it here in the Video section. Keep an eye out.

[Members - click here] I went thru some of my pics and came across a set that I just realized that I hadn't put up yet. They are pics of Jacques, aka PandaMontreal (galleries - profile) that were taken in our backyard (ours being Roger's and mine).

These photos were taken at a small pool party we had and the cute photographer who took them was Eric Z (galleries - profile), and he did a really excellent job; Panda looks absolutely handsome in the warm autumn sun in our pool and hot tub.

Flagged @ YouTube Share, RSS
Sunday, December 28, 2008

Some of you guys have asked me where has my YouTube channel gone to. Well it's a bit of an odd story but the short of it is that someone decided to flag my channel and it didn't take long for YouTube to simply delete it, and that was that.

The thing that kills me is that my videos weren't all that bad. I had 6 videos posted and 2 of them were a little 'sexy', but truly not to the point of having to delete my account.

The sad thing is that I know who flagged my channel. It's from this weirdo who has emailed me in the past; awhile back, he wrote me a letter and sent me a video saying 'can you remake this video, but with Bears...?'. When I looked at the video, it was from Sesame Street, with kids scrunching and curling their toes. I was honestly like 'what the fuck...?'. I wrote back to him and said never to send me videos with children in it again. He apologized and then I didn't hear from him anymore... until... he decided to write to me again, this time using his YouTube account. Once again he asked me the exact same request (can you please remake this video with Bears), and this time when I wrote back, I was a tad more abrupt and told him to leave me alone. Well his reply was 'fuck you, faggot troll'... and the next day my YouTube channel was gone.

So the lesson of the day here...? When you get weird emails and weird requests, best to just ignore them. Since they are weirdos to begin with, pointing it to them that they are weirdos will just enrage them... and nobody needs an enraged weirdo who've got nothing better to do than to destroy what you've worked on.

Anyhow, I created another account ~ BobnRoger ~ but I've been reluctent to add my videos again. It's time consuming to add videos simply to have your channel deleted in one fell swoop. Yet with time, this bad experience will blow over and I'll start adding videos once again.

Lastly ~ YouTube needs to rethink this 'flagging' option. It's just way too simple, and the guy who flagged me didn't even have a real channel (he doesn't have a single video he made himself, with only links to other videos, including that Sesame Street one...). Anyone can flag your videos, anyone with a vendetta or someone who is bored and has nothing better to do.

It's been awhile since I mentioned about Rimming on TubeBear. RIMs are Recorded Instant Messages and TubeBear is the first and only site that allows you to use your webcam to send off private messages. You can also save messages and keep them on your profile. More and more good looking guys are using this feature.

To see some RIMs, start off by looking at my partner's profile - Roger (photo). The RIMS are at the bottom of everyone's profiles and there's a drop-down menu for those who have added more than one RIM. Then check out Frank who has the most RIMs on TubeBear, I believe. Then get Zen with Ben and do some naked yoga'ing. Also, check out mine as well (Forrest's profile); from my list I have a few RIMs which explain to you how you can make your own video messages.

It's time you create a hot profile on TubeBear... it's simple and free.

So it's lunchtime and I'm sitting at the kitchen table, kinda daydreaming, not really thinking about anything. All the while, Roger is in the kitchen fixing us lunch. I then realize that I'm staring at his derrière (for the uncultured, that's bottom/ass in French)... and then I begin to think... wow Roger has a great butt... and then I think even more... wow Roger is just this great looking man! So I quickly grabbed my camera and took a quick few shots. Thought I would share them with ya.

Roger... the cutest Bear around... in my books anyhow. Here are 4 more sets of this handsome huggable Bear (members click here: set #1 - set #2 - set #3 - set #4. For previews - preview #1 - preview #2 - preview #3 - preview #4).

These photos were all taken during the summer of '07, when Roger was on vacation. We were up at the cottage where Roger is in his element. He's truly at home in the nature, and the country place is his heaven, his quiet place. You'll see some photos of him lounging about the cottage, baking, then some shots of him working on his dock. One evening, I decided to tie him up in the shed for a bit (there's a video that I took with these photos which I will add on a later date). Alas, all good things come to an end and Roger had to go back to town, so the last set has him back in the city, closing up the pool for the fall, then taking a shower. Almost 200 photos in this update, bringing the number of Roger's photos online here to over 1000.

These are the last sets that were on his BearFoot galleries. I'm not going to go into the whole BearFoot history, just check the archived articles and you'll see how we were going to open the site then realized that we just don't have the time to manage a 3rd site.

Therefore, some of you might have seen these photo sets... however the next time I add photos of Roger, I promise you that you've never seen them before. All I have of Roger are new photos, so keep watching. I also have some video of Roger which will be going in the PlanetBears Videos section. And to speak with Roger, check out his TubeBear profile.

Charlie's Sketch Book Share, RSS
Thursday, November 27, 2008

Charlie Hunter (website - LiveJournal) works with such confidence when he makes a piece of art. You can see it in the exquisite detail of his brushwork. Here at PlanetBears, I have spoken of his great drawings in the past (articles), yet today holds a very special meaning to me. Charlie sent in an excellent sketch of my partner, Roger (galleries - profile). All I can say is 'wow...'. Actually, I can write a hundred praise words, yet I will resort to the old saying - 'a painting is worth a thousand words' (this is the original drawing that Charlie used). When I showed the drawing to Roger, he said 'that's me... he really captured the essence of me'. And that's what a great artist can do; he captures almost a piece of the subject's soul and places it onto the canvass, making it come alive. So a huge thanks goes to Charlie for putting so much time and effort into a piece that Roger 'n I will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Virus... Share, RSS
Tuesday, November 25, 2008

You'd think I'd know by now. I downloaded a virus... I executed it... it blew up in my face. What a mess it made. Actually, this story is kind of ironic.

I have been using Norton's antivirus programs for what seems like forever now. Back in the early 90s when I first bought a computer for university, the AV to get was Norton and I stuck with them all this time.

2nd part to this story ~ I bought Roger a new computer for Xmas (early Xmas gift). It came with Vista, which of course I knew it would and I felt it was hi-time to learn Vista. Yes I have heard of every negative comment about Vista, but whatever, new computers today come with it and at worst, if we don't like it, we still have a couple of weeks to return it. So far I like Vista.

3rd part to this story ~ With Roger's new computer comes Norton 360, but it's only the 'trial' version and it's good for 60 days at which point you have to activate it (which means - buy it). Now the Norton software I have is good for my XP but it's an older version which isn't suitable for Vista, so there was no point in loading it up. So I searched the net, read here and there and found that BitDefender is the best AV out there, so I decided to torrent a copy.

4th part to this story ~ yes torrent it. I thought ok, I'll just download a copy of BitDefender and I'll be fine. Now I've downloaded several programs with torrents and never had a problem but this time I simply fucked up.

When you change antiviruses - you need to remove the first AV before adding the new AV... and that leaves you vulnerable. For some reason that night when I downloaded the BitDefender torrent, I wasn't paying attention, and I downloaded one which had no comments attached to it (comments which state whether it's safe or not to download). I just downloaded 'a' copy... so when I went to execute it... and since I removed Norton... well it turned out to be a virus.

01234.exe

45353.exe

79432.exe

Everywhere... all over my system... so yes, I'm an idiot.

Anyhow, I've been spending the past couple of days moving over all my files, reformatting this beast and I'm now in the process of reconfigurating my system. That's where I've been the past few days so I'm catching up and will get back to answering my emails and messages.

ps - I decided to buy BitDefender. I looked around and it seems that torrent copies of antiviruses are just huge pains in the asses, so instead of worrying, I just bought a copy which is good for 3 computers. Therefore Roger's new Vista box and my old XP box are protected... fuck you virus makers.

pss - that chest in the image belongs to GilBear (galleries). No it wasn't a virus that attacked him, nor is it blood for that matter. It's wax. Click here to see the pic.

A couple of years back, I was doing a lot of running around with Eric (galleries - profile), and whenever his buddy David (galleries - profile) from the States would cross the border, then the 3 of us would get together and take a lot of photos. Those days seem kinda long gone. Since then, I have sold my house and met the Bear of my dreams (that's right... Roger - galleries - profile). As for Eric, he too sold his house, he moved around a bit from place to place until he finally settled into a condo in Ottawa. As for David, he tried to get a Canadian citizenship awhile back and I think it's still in process, but for now he works at a Big & Tall store in Albany, NY.

Anyhow, they sent me some recent photos and I thought I would share them with you - check them out here. They are still a cute couple. As an aside, I do see Eric from time to time altho we haven't worked on anything in awhile. Here's hoping that we'll come up with some new material in the new year.

Roger's Nature Walk Share, RSS
Wednesday, November 19, 2008

Roger's Nature Walk on YouTube (channel BearGhetti): "There is something that I have come to truly admire about Roger is his love for nature. I haven't met anyone else like him who is able to find the miracle in things that most people consider common. A simple nature walk becomes a glimpse into paradise".

This year I (Forrest - profile) dabbled into movie making. I have been working with Roger (galleries - profile) as well as a few others and what I've come to realize is I now fully appreciate the amount of work that goes into making a movie.

The hardest part for me is the editing. Writing the story and filming it is of course a lot of work, but it's the editing ~ sitting down and spending the whole day streaming the movie together into a coherent whole. I could work 12 hours on it and be lucky if I've completed a minute... or two (miracles of miracles). Of course I've never taken courses on movie making so it's a lot of learning, still... I think 'editor' should be the final credit seen at the end of a movie, not 'director'.

This section of Roger walking in the woods is a segment to a larger project. I am trying to work on this project as much as I can, but it's just trying to find the time. My goal for '09 is to work as much as I can and with a wing and a prayer, complete something for production.

Please let me know what you think of this 5 minute short of Roger in the woods. I think Roger has such a beautiful innocence about him that it instantly appears on camera.

Ahh... Roger... I can write a novel about this man... actually I am writing a novel about this man (and my dogs) but that's not what this article is about.

If you've followed anything concerning the BearFoot site, you know it's had its ups and downs. Recently I was planning on giving some life to the site by adding all of Roger's photos into it, as well as the videos. When I met and fell in love with Roger back in February '07... well... if you've ever fallen in love, you know that it's really intense in the beginning. And since I'm a photographer, I took thousands and thousands of poses of him since we've been together. He's almost a muse (as well as being an angel).

Anyhow, I'm already running 2 sites - PlanetBears and TubeBear - and time just hasn't allowed me to work on BearFoot, so once again I have put BearFoot 'on hold' (I think I've put BearFoot 'on hold' at least a dozen times ever since I bought the domain name).

Now I had a bunch of Roger's gallery sets up on BearFoot and I mentioned in the news a few times in the past that PlanetBears members can get to visit the BearFoot galleries, all they had to do was email me and I would give them a user/pw. I then realized that really nobody reads what's on the net since I got like a 10% response to my calls - I even made videos saying 'please email me' and still only a small handful of members replied.

Anyhow, what I've been doing is that I've been relocating those galleries that were on BearFoot over to the PlanetBears Galleries (Roger's Gallery is here), and today I have added 4 of those sets which means I added over 200 photos (bringing the amount of Roger photos to almost 900). And there's also a few videos of Roger in the Video section.
