Have you ever seen a real good looking Bearish man wearing pink and then you say to yourself - hot damn, that man is hot... in pink...! I believe not everyone can wear pink and have it work, but the men that can pull fuchsia off always seem to be the best looking Bears.
This brings me to the following blog ~ Bear Delights. Now don't let this pinkish webpage fool ya into thinking this isn't a man's man site. This site is all fur, muscle and Bear... it's actually quite hardcore in relation to the other Blogspot's I've come across. Most of the men on this site are these tight MuscleBear kind of guys ~ something like Colt and ButchBear, so if that's your thing, then check it out. And remember - real men wear pink!

Here is the 3rd and final installment to Christophe Jannin's triptych of ArchAngels (blog - articles - profile - website). It is St. Raphael who has the ribbon 'contraria contrario curantur' which signifies 'the opposites are healing the opposites". This drawing is symbolizing healing and self improvement.
What I need to do is post the emails that Christophe has sent me. They go into a lot more details about the semiotics concerning these 3 archangels (St. Raphael - St. Michael and St. Gabriel). I'll do that in the next update. Also, Christophe said he's not done drawing angels. He's working on others however these 3 make up the triptych. I'll keep you informed about his 'holy' drawings as he sends them in.

It wasn't too long ago when I mentioned in the news about the wonderful drawings found in Charlie's Sketch Book (
website -
blog -
article). Since that article, I have gotten to chat with Charlie via email and what a great bloke he's turned out to be. He told me that he's planning a trip to Canada with a chance of us meeting up, and if we do meet up, he just might do a live sketching of Roger (
galleries -
profile) if he has the time. Make sure to check out his work, it's sheer talent mixed in with the love of art making.

Chris Capone is slowly unleashing himself upon the world... and I'm digging every moment of it. Chris is this very cute soft speaking husky fellah that just happens to be the grandson of the original gangster Al Capone. Yup, Al Capone - be afraid (joking... I think).
Chris has been busy of late getting his story out, first by writing a book Son of Scarface to now working on a potential TV show as a mob leader. He's also been very hard at work on his ChrisCapone.com website: Chris has a great eye for what's going on in this world and he does a real good job at blogging about it. And his latest advent is now YouTube, so make sure to subscribe to his channel and check out his first video with many more to come.
Oh... I forgot to mention that Chris is a full fledge Bear. I'm sure his grandfather, if he were alive today, wouldn't have a clue what to say about Chris... but I know what I would say if I would ever meet him... Woof...! (followed by a few pants). It's time to follow Chris' story if you haven't yet (articles - feature).

This is the 2nd installment to Christophe Jannin's triptych with ArchAngels as his theme (drawing). In the 1st installment, we saw his St. Michael, sword in hand fighting the powerful for the sake of the weak. In this update, we get to see his St. Gabriel with a ribbon reading 'corruptio optimi pessima' which translates as 'the corruption of the best is the worst of all'; He's here to protect the innocent from the corrupt (I would love to have a guardian angel that looked like him).
Now for all the links concerning Christophe - blog (French), articles, profile, website (in construction) and some pics (photo #1, photo #2, photo #3).

Greg (profile) of Woobie Bear Music is asking everyone to send in their pics for their new Photo Blog section. From Greg: "I am asking you to send us your low resolution pictures that you may find interesting; pictures of yourself, a vacation, or something funny or naughty (but not too naughty). We want to post them on the Photo blog and make them available for all to see. Email your pictures to me - Greg Hudson".
Just a reminder - if you have any news or updates to share about your Bear website, then make sure to send it in to PlanetBears - just use the contact form and if it's Bear worthy, we'll post it... and trust me, you'll get traffic directed your way, free of charge.

Chris Capone has been working real hard on his new blog site entitled ChrisCapone.com. It is the 'great gangster's blog' all the while being 'gangster fabulous'. You see, Chris Capone is the grandson of the notorious gangster Al Capone.
Chris discovered his legacy at the age of 13 and he put it all down in his book 'Son of Scarface' (website - article with more photos of Chris). And what's really interesting for us is that Chris is a really super cute looking Bear.
I asked Chris what his blog was about and he responded that it's a little of everything and anything. His topics range from the current political debate to talking about what's going on in the entertainment world, all the while interjecting his own opinions and insights. The site is updated all the time so it's definitely something you need to check out, sometimes even twice a day.
Also, I know that Chris is working on something TV related although the cat is not completely out of the bag yet. It's either a reality-like show involving Chris or it might have something to do with Chris being the head of a mob group. Once I know more, I'll pass the news on.

His name is Charlie Hunter and he enjoys sketching... and his sketches are really out of this world - see for yourself at Flux Art. He has a knack for catching the essence of what a Bear is on paper. He pencils them in with such a fine detail that they are almost lifelike, and there's a few of his sketching that make it to paint, adding a whole other dimension with colour and depth.
There's not much about Charlie himself on either his site or on his blog, but you do find out what kind of man he is by the work he does, and he does some truly fine and excellent work. Go discover Charlie's sketching for yourself.

I have mentioned this site before but it definitely is worth mentioning once again. It's called Bearotic (profile) and it's one of the best new Bear sites online. It's a blog with a big Bear heart, a site that is updated on regular basis with great articles and plenty of Bearish videos like this one.
From their site: "Bearotic is entertainment for Bears and the furry at heart. So whether you're a big burly lumberjack or just a lil' Cub admiring the view, we want you to have a good time and enjoy yourself here. Entertainment can mean a lot of different things to different people. So we do our best to present a wide variety of topics, events, artists and media. And since we think a little retail therapy is the best kind of entertainment, Bearotic also features products and services that lets you bring the experience home and into your lifestyle. Bearotic was created by a couple of media-hungry Bears who wanted to build an all-inclusive, light-hearted and low-stress place to share what's fun, amusing and even hawt. We love finding things in this big, Beary world to present to you".

There are 112 million blog sites on the net supposedly, and there's more and more Bear blog sites, and quite a few of them are photo blogs. There's one I came across, and I believe I mentioned it before in an article (check archives for blogs), but I'm pretty sure I didn't give it its own article. If you like lycra or spandex, then make sure to check out the Bears and Dads Spandex Fun site. aka 'see how far you can stretch that material'.

Artist Christophe Jannin (articles - blog - profile - website) sends in some updates as he plans for his upcoming exhibition in Lyon (France) which will be taking place at 'Le Station B' from July 25th thru August 15th (flyer).
From Christophe: "Winter is here in New Zealand, bloody freezing, stormy, rainy, haily. I am now counting the days before I leave to go to France for the holidays. Taking off on Tuesday night and landing in Paris on Wednesday 8 in the evening. About 22 hours flying, roughly a 30 hours trip with the stop in Singapore.
I have just finished my latest drawing entitled 'The Rite of Spring' (full image). A drawing full of optimism and very pastoral, the format is in the 'Italian way', meaning horizontal which is very unusual for me since I prefer a vertical format. In fact, physically it's two drawings, composed as a diptych but reunited with the colour version".

A long time ago when the internet was innocent and full of life, there was a popular Yahoo! group called Bear Mythology. I was a member of it and I remember it having more topics being covered than any other Bear mailing list (even moreso than the original Bear's Mailing List).
Many years later, I chanced upon BearMythology.net, and guess what, it's run by the same chap who ran the Yahoo! group. What's great is that he has brought over the greatness of his newsletter onto this blog. His name is Will and you can learn more about him here, and I asked Will to describe his blog, and this is what he had to say:
"BearMythology is a personal blog dedicated to admirers of Bearish men. If I find someone 'Bearish', whether he be gay or straight, then I will post about him. I tend to post about media personalities (celebrities, athletes) and personal sites. I have a personal preference towards the bigger Bears (Grizzlies, Chubs), but I also keep an open mind and celebrate the smaller Bears. I post as much photos, videos, and information about these Bears, as well as injecting some humor, personal opinions, and even stories (fan fiction I refer to as BearFics). My armpits fetish tends to dominate my blog posts; and I also have this fetish towards bondage, gut-punching and ball-busting (which I refer to as BearBeat).
BearMythology started out as a Yahoo! Group, but it's time to evolve into the Blogosphere so that our normally lesser-known/unknown Bearish men are exposed into the mainstream and be appreciated by all (from Bear admirers to our heterosexual brethren). BearMythology strives to provide a positive image towards men who are typically stereotyped and ridiculed in our current media outlets. Do stop by once in a while. I'm positive that you will enjoy your visit".

Awhile back (article) I mentioned that Dart (TubeBear profile), the webmaster for BearBound (TubeBear 'PRO' profile - articles), has opened his own site called Dart's Domain. Since then he has been working on doing quite a few podcasts.
Check out his blog section as he's been chatting with friends within the leather realm. I've just finished listening to Part I of his chat with Cub Dan. Now Dan is super cute and you can see him tied up in all kinds of interesting ways on BearBound, but click here to see some previews (and here from a prior article).

This is for all those who say they cannot lose weight... not even a little weight. Head on over to David aka PagerBear's website... this man went from 450 pounds to 195 pounds. Now I'm not sure how he lost all the weight since he doesn't mention it on his site, but what he's done is truly an incredible feat. I'm also not sure when he's updated his site last, but he does have a blog which he adds to regularly.
Now don't get me wrong - I like guys with weight. That's why I run a Bear site because my type of men are considered brawny, hefty, husky, heavy - what have you... however the guy needs to be healthy; not for me but for himself. There's a fine line... being turned on to bigger men means that most often they have a 'weight issue'. It seems that every guy I find cute tells me at some point that he needs to lose weight.
Anyhow - the real point about this article is that PagerBear went to the extremes. He was a whopping 450 pounds and he brought himself down to 195. So - if you're anywhere between those numbers and feel the need to shed a few pounds - either for health reasons or simply for aesthetic reasons - use PagerBear as your poster Bear model, and say to yourself - 'he did it... so can I'... however... if you're happy with your weight and you feel healthy, then by all means, enjoy life and enjoy the fact that some guys like me are going to get turned on by your huskiness.

Here is one great blog - it's called Cubs Out Loud - 'The Bear Blog of Indeterminate Length'. I first heard about this site in one of Nard's BearPodCast episodes so I checked it out and wow, it's one site you need to bookmark and visit almost on a daily basis. These guys are busy with event postings, Bear news concerning artists, links to videos and music and they write some truly interesting articles. On top of all that, they post a regular COL podcast. You gotta love their 'busy'-ness and it's all about the Bear man... and they young Cub lads as well. In their about section, they state that "Cubs Out Loud Blog is intended to be your one stop Bear Shop for Bear news" and they are doing a fine job living up to it.

'Blog, blog, blog it all... blog it if it's big or small... blog at the cineplex... blog while you're having sex'... some lyrics from the Ritcher Scales song Here Come Another Bubble... however it's true, blogs are taking over the internet. Everyone but everyone blogs, even if they try it once and haven't updated their blog in 3 years and tell themselves they 'must' update their blog so they can be the next big site... blogging is everywhere.
You can actually spend your whole entire life either blogging or reading other people's blog trying to keep up with who is fucking who and who is fucking over who... however thank God for the French because there's a great blog called Senior et Gay. You need not know one word of French to enjoy this site. It's just filled with pics of older guys and a lot of them are of the husky Bearish kind. So bloggez bloggez away, my friends, and clickez clickez while checking out tons of pics from that blog site which is almost a year old.

Sometimes I scour the news to see what's husky. The latest husky one in the news is this guy Scobleizer. Seems he has a well known blog for geeks and he's recently blasted Microsoft's presence on the internet: "Microsoft’s Internet execution sucks (on whole). Its search sucks. Its advertising sucks". I love words like suck... one question tho ~ how can you be a big guru geek when Microsoft is your platform... I thought the true geeks use Unix/Linux...
'What not to Wear' candidate (sorry the horns have to go).
He'd look way more handsome with a beard.
