The following was sent in by Mark: "Berlin based film director Edwin Brienen (website - MySpace page) is relatively unknown in the mainstream, but this will soon change with the release of The Edwin Brienen DVD Collection - 5 films, some of them gay themed such as the illustrious 'Lebenspornografie'.

This is art house pur sang, extravagant and over the top, but non film lovers can watch pictures of this woofy film director, whose lamp chops are delicious! This Brienen has kind of a reputation in the darker alleys of gay underground, so you better watch out if you meet him in one of the Berlin bars".

This has nothing to do with human Bears and everything to do with the four-legged kind of bears. I rarely write about anything about the four-legged kind or about the plush kind (like teddy bears) but this morning when I went to Wikipedia to read their featured article... well... this was one article that strung a few chords in my heart. It's about a polar bear named Knut.

I never heard of Knut before however he's quite the celebrity. Rejected by his mother at birth, he was subsequently raised by humans and has attracted many crowds to the Berlin Zoo.

On a personal note - I am truly glad that the men that I find attractive have used the bear animal to symbolically represent them. They have to be the most incredible creatures - being able to be so ferocious while equally tender. They are definitely cute as, just like the men they represent.

It's time once again to surf the net for them sexy Bear voices... let's go pick up some podcasts done by Bears and made for Bears, shall we...? It's been a month since I last mentioned the podcasts (article here) so get your download finger ready.

Starting with BearPodCast - Nard (TubeBear profile) has been really busy since the last time I posted about the podcasts. The last time I mentioned his show, he was at #140. He has done 9 shows since then. The man is a machine. Head on over to his site and listen to his shows from Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.

Grab a plane and fly around the world to Australia, or just visit the Bears in the City website. Since the last mention, they have done 2 shows - episode #12 (download here) and episode #13 (download here).

And have the Bears of BTalkworld slowed down since they lost one of their hosts? Nope, no way. Since the last mention, they have added 4 more shows - episode #95 (download here) - episode #96 (download here) - episode #97 (download here) - episode #98 (download here).

Now how about some AmericanBadBear... these guys have a show called BearZero (TubeBear profile) and they make video podcasts. They are now at episode #7 (download here).

And... the FoulMonkeys (TubeBear profile)... they have posted a ton of shows as well since my last post - 6 shows - bringing them to 113. Just head on over to their page and dowload them all.

Check out the Spreebären website to find out more about their BearVersions event which is taking place from April 5th thru the 9th in Berlin, Germany. From their site: "Easter in Berlin, you will find many 'versions' of Bears: big or slim bears, with or without facial or body hair, young Bears, Daddy Bears". Get 'Bearverted' and make plans to hit Germany this spring. If you need more convincing, check out the guys who make up the Spreebären club and browse their galleries from all their yesterday events.

As they ask on New Bears' Eve site "no plan for New Years’ Eve? Dinner for one or party together?". Why not party with a bunch of cute German Bears on December 31st in Berlin? Looks like they have a fun evening planned.
