Got Fur? (website - you need to register - it's free) is once again holding their 'Best of the Bears' ballot. What this means is that you get to first nominate and then vote for what you think are the 'Best of...' in several Bearish categories. In 2006 (article) it was Bear411 that won for best website. In 2007 (article) it was BearCiti. Who's it gonna be for 2008...?

Below are the categories to nominate/vote for. Right now they are taking your nominations and they will be doing so up until November 15th. Then the voting will begin - and you'll be able to vote from November 16th thru December 3rd. Copy and paste and email your choices in:

There is BearCity and then there is BearCiti... but did you know there is another city for really really... and I mean really big Bears, or call them Chubs if you like, or just call them super sized men. The site is called Obese City and it features some drawings and some fiction of some extremely large men (700+ pounds) done by the webmaster Jim.

The beauty about the internet is that we can design sites and not worry about discrimination. Jim likes really big men and that's his thing and he made this site so as to say 'hey, I like big men', and for that, I give Jim a bunch of golden stars. To see what kind of men he likes, check out his galleries. Some are Bearish, some Chubs, some universally big.

Now the only thing I have about all this is that guaranteed 99% of the men in those pics have some kind of health issue, but I'm not here to point fingers or anything and if you're a grown up then you need to take care of yourself, and if you're really big and feel fine in your skin, power to you. Still, health is kind of important, don't you think...? For Jim, the bigger the more beautifuller. For me, stay big yet stay healthy.

There's a few ways you can look at life - either you are in competition with others or you do your best to cooperate with others. I have discovered that cooperation opens up way more doors so I continue to post news about every single Bear site available, even sites resemble one of my own.

Take BearCiti, for example - here's a very handsome Bear profile page and Nick their marketing director has informed me that they have hit the 10,000 mark in only 150 days, which is incredible. Altho BearCiti is a profile site and so is TubeBear, both sites have their own unique vibe to it which means there's a reason to visit both sites.

Congrats to BearCiti, hope the next 10k of cute guys come just as quickly... and congrats to TubeBear... oh wait, that's my site (is congratulating one self something like masturbation?).
