Elijah Black is one hot Bearish musician who has been real busy of late making some great stuff. Now you might remember seeing Elijah as he was part of the Bear-quintet that made up Bears on the Run... or you might have seen him playing a gig at Bearapalooza. Well lately Elijah has been working with his band and the results are quite phenomenal.

He has recently completed a new video from his April '08 CD 'Better Man' and its from his song 'Smile for Me'. You can see the video here on YouTube (here's Elijah's YouTube page) and from someone who listens to music all day long (that be me), when I heard this song the very thing I did was turn it up. This is just brilliant, and he's got such a voice, such talent. You need to check it out.

Also, there's some voting going on at Logo Online - you get to vote for your favourite video, and yup, Elijah's video is there for you guys to vote for. Check out the other videos if you like (there's a lot of them) but you will have to admit that Mr. Black has a voice that can soothe any hardened heart. He has definitely put a smile on my face.

Also, visit his MySpace page as well as his official (louder than life) site ~ ElijahBlack.com. You can pick up his albums from there and see a bunch more pics and learn a lot more about him.

From the Bears on the Run site: "Over the last few years, outlets like Bear Radio Network, Bearapalooza and Woobie Bear Music, along with a host of supportive Bear runs, bars and podcasts, have given Bear musicians, songwriters and performers a place to share their talents. This fall, 6 performers will head out in a van for the 1st ever Bear tour which will span 12 cities and 7 states including Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma.

The tour is called Bears on the Run and showcases the talents of Bobaloo (a comedian from Los Angeles, CA - TubeBear profile), Kendall (a songwriter and performance artist from Buffalo, NY), Matthew Temple (a folk singer/songwriter from Nashville, TN), Nakia (a Blues singer/songwriter from Austin, TX), Elijah Black (a rock singer and songwriter from Akron, OH) and Shannon Grady (a singer and songwriter from Minneapolis, MN). Along for the ride will be two videographers who will capture performances as well as life backstage and on the road to be edited into a documentary.

The tour's founder Shannon Grady (a singer and co-host of the popular podcast bTALK) hopes that the tour will grow and open up doors for other Bear artists and find new audiences for their work".

Representing the Bear Community, his name is Bigg Nugg and not only is he talented but he's just so incredibly cute. Let's get acquainted with this young Bear Cub from Ohio, shall we...?

First and foremost, go visit his website BiggNugg.com - from there you'll get to learn a little about who he is and when you can see him perform in his bio section. He has several shows in the summer, one of them a performance with Bearapalooza. While in October, he's a player in the Homo Revolution Tour. To see some a small ton of pics of him, head on over to his MySpace webpage.

Ok now for the important stuff - Bigg Nugg has come out with a new CD 'La Revolucion'. You can hear previews of his songs by clicking here which will bring you to the iTunes store.

Need more...? Then I really do suggest you go visit his YouTube webpage which he updates quite regularly, and please don't tell me that you don't fall in love with him after seeing his La Revolucion video.

I'm definitely bookmarking this chunky husky musician's page. Hip Hop Bears - you gotta love it.

If you like watching guys sing at Bearapalooza, then head on over to James' (aka Devil) YouTube page entitled AmericanBadBear Studios. I then did a bit of searching and saw he also has a Livejournal page as well as a Flickr page. So far, there's quite a lot of stuff to check out.

Then I did a bit more searching and found an interview/chat he had with the guys at Foul Monkeys back in May '06 (here). What was interesting to find out is that AmericanBadBear Studios will be about Bears and Chub porn... someday. I check the site AmericanBadBear.com and there's nothing up there, and it'll be a year since that interview so maybe there won't be any porn, maybe there will be. We're just going to have to wait and see what the Devil has in store for us.
