Ahh... the wonderful world of the internet. The net is a place of discovery, and once you discover Bear-Pics, you'll understand why you love to sit in front of your computer all day and all night. The newly re-opened Bear-Pics is like nothing else online: load up your pics and you'll not only get credits but you'll also get a cute button created by yours truly. Create galleries of yourself and rack up a ton of credits. You get 10 credits for each pic you upload and you get an additional credit every time guys click on your pics.

It's now time to put your digital camera to use. Start taking 100s even 1000s of pics of yourself and start adding them. You have leather? Wear it! You look hot in a business suit? Please, take a ton of pics of you in (and out) of your suit. Like bondage and have friends? Be creative. You have other fetishes you wish to explore? By all means, do so.

I'm hoping Bear groups will start using Bear-Pics to load up their Bear event pics as well as their creative posters they make for their events. And to artists and photographers: here is hoping as well that you talented men will see Bear-Pics as a brand new platform to showcase your work. Already some Bearish magazines, DVD makers, cartoonists as well as some artists and photographers have added their work. I'm anticipating that you will join in on this new adventure.

One thing I've come to appreciate - I am no artist... however, I did put a little something together - a Bear-Pics poster. Luckily I am surrounded by a bunch of talented artist, and after I ok'ed it with everyone, I kind of 'borrowed' a little of this and 'grabbed' a little of that, and together it's kind of like - "PlanetBears has been attacked, and they are now flying off to Earth to save her"... or something like that. The city is a drawing done by my buddy PiBear (profile) and the littte spaceships are from Perdido (profile). As I keep telling everyone, I'm having fun with the new Bear-Pics.

No sooner did I post this article did the adorable J.N. load up yet another great set of photos up onto Bear-Pics. This time around, J.N is getting tattooed by a husky buddy, and they begin to carry things a little too far.

Now I've been taking pics for a long time and I know talent when I see it. J.N and his buddy have a gift - both in front of the camera as well as angle placement. The way they are able to catch such a cool atmosphere - wow - and both of them looking quite Bear Cubbishly delicious... it's all art.

I again realize I still have so much to learn, however I'm glad for Bear-Pics because if there's more guys who can wield a camera like J.N. and are willing to put up their photos on Bear-Pics, then I'll be student in Bear7 Heaven University.

I have to thank Perdido - it is his incredible 'Bear Degeneration' world that you are seeing a little bit everywhere (here as in PlanetBears and a bit on Bear-Pics too). I have been blessed to be able to work with Perdido who just happens to be an insanely cute Italian OrsoBear that is twice as talented. If you haven't had a chance to follow Perdido's Bear Degeneration, it's definitely a roller coaster ride for those who love comics. The detail in each frame is almost like looking at wee little Bearish masterpieces.

Over the past little while, Perdido and I have been translating the original Bear Degeneration from Italian to English, and right now Perdido is waiting on me to catch up on my translations, however I have been having more fun with his cute little furry drawings than with the texts.

All this to say - it is on my todo list - to translate the next episode of Bear Degeneration for you English fans out there, that is. And for any of you who haven't had a chance to see this comic, then click here to read 16 episodes in English... and you Italian fans can stay tuned in the future with Perdido with his 22 episodes.

Getting back to being adults - Bear-Pics is adult site, and there's already been a lot of really great looking men that have put up their pics already, creating galleries, and I give these guys credit because they are trying to self-express themselves. When I came across J.N.'s pics (aka JizzyNizzle), I saw something, I saw talent... the angles in each picture, and well, I have to admit, J.N. is easy on the eye for me, and that's ok, I am allowed to find whatever I find cute, may it be a 28 hot Phoenix Cub Bearish adult man. He's cute, playful, and his work is professional, and so I learnt something from talented usage of a camera - he explained to me that the camera is a tool - so to master this tool. When I saw J.N.'s pics, I realized that I am far from all-knowing... in fact, I am in my phase of all-discovering... and I gotta thank J.N. for he shared his secret talent to me (can you see it?).

Bear-Pics - Version 2010.

Although there is no official date as to when this new Bears book will be released, we are beginning to see some previews. The book is simply called Bears and it's being put together by 2 extremely creative Argentinean Bears - Ivan & Gabo (website). The only thing I know so far about this Bears book is that the prologue is written by photographer GianOrso, yet I did see some stills - check out this gallery on Bear-Pics. 3 Bearish guys, some rope... oh the possibilities.

BEEF Magazine has gone digital. Their latest issue - #47 - is available online and for you can browse through their 68 pages with simple clicks of the mouse.

Now from what I got from the editorial, BEEF (as many printed magazines) is suffering from stores closing down and boxes of their mags being shipped back. Without a doubt, the printed page has taken a beating from our digital notebooks, however rather than bow down to the pressures and close up shop, BEEF is taking on a philosophy which I have always appreciated. It's a philosophy from Bugs Bunny: when that cute Yosemite Sam realizes he couldn't beat Bugs, he understood it's best if he just joined him. So with that in mind, it's like Beef is going for the best of both worlds: still in print while available online. And this latest issue is really darn hot.

In other news, Scott McGillivray, editor of BEEF, has been recently interviewed by the Gay & Lesbian Times. It's an interesting read and Scott is now considered a legend among the Bear world. Bow down to the greatness.

And one more thing, David 'Bearenheart', a buddy I photographed (Bear-Pics), has written his first article for the mag (pages 43-44). It's all about the pros and cons of dating (and the woes and worries or a potential 'wow' from an upcoming 'blind' date).

Bear-Pics is a super ez site as well - nothing complicated about it. You sign up (for free), and you create a profile - username/password/email - that's it. Once you do that, you get 20 credits. It takes 1 credit to see 1 pic. In order to get more pics, create your own galleries, add your pics, and for every pic we approve, you will get an additional 10 credits added to your sum. After that, every time someone looks at your picture, you will get an additional credit.

Here's an example: I created a gallery of Roger and I when we went for a nature walk with the pups, Drako 'n Sasha. Ok so maybe it's not the most exciting gallery I have ever put up, but this is to show you - you can put up any kind of gallery. You can have quiet nature shots like the ones I posted, or you can put up adult content. It's a Bear site, so anything legal goes, and again, since it a Bear site, I'm really hoping to see older guys put up their pics, because our motto at Bear-Pics is: the older the better.

So join, look around, and add some pics and you'll get more credits. And for those who don't have pics or aren't sure, we have a couple of payment plans that are very respectable - $9.99 for a month unlimited credit or $10.00 get 1000 credits and use them without any time constraint.

Back online. I have been spending a lot of time up north with Roger at the cottage (that's Roger's backside in this photo, with Drako), and we've been up here working at fixing up this place. It's a home he inherited from his aunt back in 2006, and ever since then he's been doing major renovations to it. And even better news for me, I am online. We finally have high-speed here (it's dsl and it's great) which means I am able to work from the cottage as well.

A lot of my focus is on our brother site - Bear-Pics.com - and I'm hoping that I'll be seeing a lot of you great looking men to send in your pics. Bear-Pics is something you have to check out because there's just nothing quite like it on the internet. My buddy AdminBear really knocked himself out creating this site - it's going to change the face of the Bear universe. Logon, it's fun.

This is a gentle reminder for all of you to point your clicker over to Bear-Pics.com as this is turning out to be a really innovating site, unlike anything else on the net (which is very cool, since it's a Bear site). You join - it's free - and you get 20 credits. You step into Bear-Pics and you will see galleries: guys creating their own galleries - leather - suit and tie - swimwear, underwear, no ware... it's an adult site so everything legal goes.

So... 20 credits... not a lot. How can you get more credits? There's a few options, all of them good. The first option is to create your own profile and add your pics of yourself. Take as many pics as you like. Every pic we approve, you get an additional 10 credits + every time someone looks at your pic, you get another credit for each peek.

Without any forewarnings or notices, we just went ahead and re-opened Bear-Pics - version 2010. Just like that!

We have a great system in place. It's a credit system. First off, join up and get 20 credits. Use these credits to see pics. You need 1 credit to see 1 pic. Now if you want more credits, simply upload your pics; for each and every pic you upload and we approve, you will get 10 more credits. But that's just the beginning: each and every time someone new looks at your pic, you will get an additional credit. Post a lot of pics and you are guaranteed to get a lot of credits which will allow you in turn to see other guy's pics.

The site is so brand new you can still smell the paint in the galleries, and that's exactly what you have to do. Create galleries and then add pics. Now there are not that many pics up yet since the site is just shy 2 weeks old, however with time, we're sure hoping Bear-Pics will become your new homepage to see what new pics have been posted since the last time you logged in.

As for those who do not want to post their pics or have no pics to post, we have a couple of great packages in place for you. Anyhow, go get your camera and start taking tons of pics.

I have known about Palatied for awhile now as I have seen many of his great bondage videos on some other sites. Did I ever write to him? No. Why? Well mostly because I'm just too shy to write, especially when it comes to writing a fan letter. It's just not my forté.
