Ok so first, get on your hands and knees... that's right... now wait until I get on top of you... ok... now at the count of three, I am going to try and pin you to the ground... you ready...?

Welcome to the wonderful world of pinning... or rather, it's Pinner's World. Pinner is the nickname given to the very huggable Dave (photos) who has been running the site since '96. It's all about Wrestling and Bears, and not necessarily in that order. He created this site because ever since he was young, he's been hooked on wrestling. As he mentions in his bio: "muscular physiques and lycra that left little to the imagination pushed me over the top. Seeing the likes of Arn Anderson, George 'The Animal' Steel and even Rick Steiner got me hooked on men with body hair. And for the record, Nikita Koloff is my all-time favorite".

This is an excellent site. It's clean and easy to navigate, and there's a ton of photos for you to peruse. You can easily tell this site is a true labour of love and Dave has put a lot of time and effort into making it a great experience for those who dig furry Bearish men that slam each other all over the ring.

Lastly, Dave is also part of 619 BearCast (website - articles), a new podcast show hosted by some really cute out in San Diego. Make sure to go and download their episodes.

Awhile back I posted an article on DrumBear (Paul) and mentioned how part of life is somehow about coming into contact with certain people and then losing touch with them. Anyhow he had sent me some of his drawings to feature on BearPress back in '00 and I posted them in that March '07 article. Well since then I unearthed a few more of his drawings ~ click here to see them. Today, I have no clue where Paul DrumBear is now, but if someone knows him, let him know that someone still digs his work.

BearQuest is the first ever UK festival/camping weekend for Bears, Cubs and admirers. The dates are August 29th thru the 31st (which is the week after the August Bank Holiday).

This event be featured in a large circus style marquee with stage, DJ (top DJs confirmed - DJ Charlie from Brighton, DJ Dave Bear, DJ Ross Alexander), entertainment, with beer and food available, and there will be stalls and a large funfair as well as a campsite for guys to pitch their tents. They also have tents on site - 6 or 8 Bears shared tents. BearQuest will also feature a Bearlesque, the last UK tour of Mary Kiani, and there will also be a professional international wrestling show featuring hunky Bear and Cub wrestlers from around the world.

They have vacancies for bar staff, marshalls, stallholders, etc... so please email the organiser DaveBear.

There's a lot of news and updates to mention concerning the excellent FunFur.tv (articles). FunFur is a British-based website that posts some of the best Bear videos on the net. They have erotica as well as comedy... watch them for free or download the hi-res versions for only a dollar (that's a half a pound... I think).

1st off, they have a video of some Bears and Cubs wrestling in the nude after oiling themselves up. All this in front of a huge crowd. 2ndly, they have added pics from the Great British Bear Bash... check out their Forum section. Also in the Forum section, there's new stories for you to peruse. And every original story posted in the Forum over 300 words gets you $5 of free video clips.

3rd - new content. There's 'Bear Inspectors' - "hairy fellas in the streets get probed!". Also, there's a new music video 'Fever' starring Doctor Woof. Make sure to check out Jonathan Robinson's YouTube page (Jonathan is the director and master mind behind FunFur - check out his professional site). Soon you will see BSI #3 (Bear Scene Investigation) and Jonathan has just finished filming the Bear Bash 11 so expect to see some clips online as well as a DVD available for that as well.

His name is Roger Baptist and he's part of a band called Rummelsnuff. From their site they state that their music is considered Elektropunk which to me sounds a bit like a watered down version of Rammstein - but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Actually, you cannot but help keep your eyes on this massive 'bodybuilder gone Bear' singer. It's all in German and I can't understand a word but from I read he sings about power in the wrestling ring, the men on the high seas and the Schwerstarbeitern underground (which I have no clue what it is since the translator didn't do it's job). You gotta check out his videos, especially if you dig seeing a huge guy in the ring butt naked, in the shower, or from I can tell coming alive from a fountain to become an executive. I love his videos, this guy is great and his band is a ton of fun (they also have a MySpace page).
