Now that Britain's Next Bear Model is over (articles), the winner has been announced, what you need to do is get yourself a copy of the DVD (cover). What you will be getting is all of the episodes edited together into a 60 minute feature (with no teases nor credits apart from those at the end of the show).

As a bonus, you will also get a 12 minute feature called 'Bears on Bears'. This is where they talk in the 'diary room' to all of the contestants, and the contestants talk about the other contestants. Maker Jonathan Robinson  (website - profile) states that he expects to get a few irate emails from some of the guys once they see that! You can get an idea of what this 'Bears on Bears' is going to look like from this preview on Jonathan's YouTube channel.

Also, Jonathan sent in this to PlanetBears: On Steve. It's only 40 seconds but it's a hoot. Personally, I really liked Steve. I was hoping to see him make it to the top 3 (my choice would have been Sean, Steve and either Leopold or Kris... with Sean most likely winning... however that's not how it ended up, now did it). Anyhow, the diary section looks great.

Jonathan Robinson (website - YouTube - profile) ~ the man responsible for the smash series 'Britain's Next Bear Model' ~ is informing us that the DVD is now available (cover) and you can purchase here (via Paypal). Also, there's a DVD giveaway ~ check out this video from Jonathan for all the details.

It's been a wild ride yet the truly entertaining Britain's Next Bear Model series has come to an end. The 3 finalists were Alan, Raff and Sean... and I think everyone thought that Sean with his classic Bearish looks was going to win yet it was Raff with his sultry accent and killer smile who was crowned as the very first Mr. Bear Model. A lot of the guys who participated were seriously cute, however it was us that voted for who we wanted, and Raff came out top.

The other day I mentioned of a Montreal based company called BJ Bear Design (article) run by Jean-Maurice & Jean. What I forgot to mention is that they are looking for models to showcase their goods. The link is here and it's in French, however what it states is that they cannot offer money but you do get a t-shirt, a hat and a $50 gift certificate, and the fame of being a Bear model. I betcha a buck that anytime you turn on the tv and you see some fashion show going on, you just shake your head thinking what those poor models must go through while trying to maintain their 98 pounds of weight... and since we are all Bear lovers here, well there is never any eye-candy whatsoever at those fashion shows (save the occasional Bearish model designer who's extremely gay).

Ok now that I'm done with that overtly long intro - how about watching a Bear fashion show... one with extra husky Bears showing their stuff while strutting the runway? That's what you'll see if you download the latest American Bad Bear (ABB) podcast. Their show is called BearZero (TubeBear profile) and the ABB Bears who make this podcast do a great job because ~ and it's a video podcast as well, which is even more fun. To see their latest podcast, go here (give is awhile to download). In this show, they feature Bob aka BearBob1952 (TubeBear profile) from Project Big (TubeBear PRO profile) with a bunch of his friends who model his great wares. Go take a few minutes and watch it.

If you are a connoisseur of Bear porn, then you have surely heard of Joe Falconi (larger pic). He's done several photo shoots for guys like BearBound and CyberBears, and he even had a minute of fame when his face showed up on Conan O'Brien (article here).
