Time to tune into the Buck and Bobaloo Show which is a "weekly podcast starring Bruce 'Buck' Hakes and Bob 'Bobaloo' Koenig. Featuring obscene amounts of sex, drugs, Bears, and rock 'n roll. And adorable fluffy puppies"... or so they state on their website.

I have spoken many times about Bobaloo over the years (articles - profile), and I have known of him from way back when I first saw some football pictures of him in a Yahoo!Groups in '01. He has since toured with the Bears on the Run guys and has made a DVD for his standup comedian act (which can be found on his site BobalooRox); I have been an online fan of his since the beginning.

As for Buck, I gotta be honest and say that this is the 1st time I've heard of him however I'm planning on grabbing some of their podcasts so I can get better acquainted. They have been doing their podcast show since September 25th and have so far 6 episodes.

Here's some news from Nugget himself: "I am getting ready to start looking into venues, promoters, and events in Europe and Australia for my 2009 Nugget World Tour. There will be some very limited USA shows due to the extreme gas prices here. But they are sure to be very intense shows from Bigg Nugg. Stay posted for those possibly in late 2008. We are looking at late spring / summer 2009 for the Nugget European Tour, and the Aussie's Pride season for the Australian Tour. On August 2nd, LOGO is premiering Bear Run, a documentary that celebrates the Bear community. This movie will be broadcasted throughout the month of August.

'Bear Run' tracks the contemporary rituals, language, values  and evolving aesthetic of Bear culture, by following three characters  as they romp through the '06-'08 event circuit Bear Albany, International Bear Rendezvous, Bear Week – Provincetown, Bear Trek and Lazy Bear Weekend". It is the first site completely dedicated to older men and their admirers.
