I really don't know why respected actors just all of a sudden lose all sense of reality, which seemed to happen to the 78 year old Rip Torn who was found drunk and toting a gun in a bank in Connecticut, apparently to rob it: "Torn was charged in court with burglary, criminal trespass and weapons offenses but did not enter a plea. He was released on $100,000 bond, a court spokeswoman said" (article). Rip was then caught on video after.
