Well in a few weeks from now, Mitch and Come to Daddy will be involved in the Bristol Bear Fiesta (this is #5) which will be taking place from June 6th thru the 8th. Click here to see the poster and you can email Mitch for more info if you're interested in participating.

My buddy OneDragon (TubeBear Profile) sent me a note the other day saying stating that those who plan on visiting Montreal and need an apartment, he knows of one and the price is very reasonable. There's a place called Bearidise which is a mansion that's in a town called Milesburg, PA (which is around 2.5 hours from Harrisburg, PA and 2.5 hours away from Pittsburg, PA... there's quite a few 'burgs' in Pennsylvania). You should check out their site as these guys host regular Bearish events. The UpBear gents who get together for their monthly brunch in Montreal are celebrating their 5th year anniversary and they are doing it in style. They will be getting together for a sugaring off old fashion style. They are going to Érablière St-Henri in Ste-Marthe, QC. The place is rustic looking with a friendly staff, known for its good food and its maple products. The date is Sunday, March 30th and tickets are $25 which covers the meal and possibly a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Come to Daddy is weekly events in London and Bristol hosted by Mitch (TubeBear profile). Now - between you and me - if I lived in the UK, I would be going to this event every week just to see this incredibly handsome husky Bear.

Weekly every Wednesday at Central Station, Kings Cross, London. Monthly every 2nd Saturday at VIP Lounge, Flamingos club, Bristol. On Saturday, February 23rd, Come to Daddy will be opening a new monthly club in Bristol, and then this event will occur monthly every 4th Saturday at club Orgasm. This fantastic club boasts 3 fantastic club areas with a 300 capacity and tons of fun. Bar, dance floor, showers, adult porn, playrooms, St-Andrews cross, and more.

The Ottawa Bears are having their Mr. Ottawa Bear contest on January 19th at Swizzle Bar & Grill in Canada's capital city of Ottawa, Ontario. This year the Montreal band Bear Crusader will be providing the entertainment. A couple of the Bear Crusader band members consist of Steve (website - TubeBear profile) and Sylvain (TubeBear profile). As well, there will be Bear go-go dancers.

This must be a site to see - a bunch of people running down their streets in their Speedos... but yes... it's true... it's time for the 2nd Annual Santa Speedo Sprint in which guys will be running up and down Lark Street in Albany, NY all for the sake of charity.

Some of the Bear Albany guys should be there as well as James who modeled for bear-pics awhile back (James' gallery is here) - you can even sponsor him (just send him an email). I hope someone will have their Sony or Kodak handy so as to film the husky guys running down the streets in tight swimwear. It's a fantasy of mine, what can I say...

ToolBeltBear (TubeBear profile) has sent in news that Maximus - the social gathering for cigar and pipe smokers -will be having their events in conjunction with LazyBear Holiday weekend (article). On November 23rd, they will be at the Chaps Inn Resort in Palm Springs, CA. On November 24th and 25th they will be at the Barracks Bar Patio in Cathedral City, CA. Also, they have created a Yahoo! groups mailing list called Maximus Cigar Men.

Frisch Bears and logos have been imprinted on over 25,000 tshirts, hats and more in the past 20 years. Frisch drawings have raised over $51,000 for charity in the past 20 years.

The Bears of San Francisco and The Complete Bear invite you share in the holiday spirit by donating new, unwrapped teddy bears until December 16th. The Northeast Ursamen of Connecticut are celebrating their 15th year and they are opening their annual meeting to the general public. Non members and friends can join them for dinner and party afterwards. This will be happening on October 6th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Make sure to RSVP before October 1st.

First off, the Bears of San Francisco have redesigned their site. Very snazzy, have a look. Now here are some upcoming events they are planning. On September 18th they are having an after work social, shopping event and dinner, then on the 24th, it's off to the gym. From BOSF: "The staff of the Human Rights Campaign store (Castro & 19th St) are having a special appreciation shopping event for BOSF members. As a kickoff for extending an on-going 10% discount for BOSF members, they will have a private, 10% off shopping event just for BOSF, with a special thank-you gift for making purchases at the event.
