This feature of a TubeBear profile is sad... it's actually a profile that belongs to a couple - Duane and Lee - their profile being the ChubTickler. Lee (the younger of the 2) recently passed away just shy a month ago, and Duane is asking to keep up the profile as a way to keep Lee's memory alive. I thought that was a really touching gesture.

From their profile: "My Lee quietly passed from this world after a long battle with cancer. I have asked that his profile be kept up here in his memory. Lee darling I love you. you will always be in my heart, my sweet ChubTickler".

It's time to update you on all the neat things you can do on TubeBear... but remember... you need to join to get in on the fun.

1st you can Livestream - turn your webcam on and see the number of guys watching you rise. There's 2 ways you can stream - the simplest way is to login to your profile, click Broadcast & Record Videos, and if your webcam is plugged in properly, just click ok and you'll be streaming immediately. However, if you want a good camera and a fast computer, then you can stream in higher resolution by using Flash Media Encoder. There's a bit of 'configurating' to do... it's all explained here. Check out to see who's LiveStreaming.

Instead of sending an 'Instant Message', send a RIM - a 'Recorded Instant Message'... never worry about carpal tunnel syndrome again since all you need to do is chat rather than type. And sending RIMs is very easy - again go to your Broadcast & Record Videos link, click ok, and start recording. I made a little video explaining all this, check it out here.

Once you are logged in and add a main photo to your profile, you can view everyone else's profile, their galleries, their videos and their livestreaming.

My buddy Frank (PlanetBears' Gallery) has one of the best profiles on TubeBear. You have to check it out. He filled in the description about himself, added a ton of photos to his gallery section, has made a load of little videos and he livestreams a lot. And if you haven't seen his videos, there's some that are adult, some of him talking, cooking... and my favourite - Frank is disco dancing... there's a disco ball and everything - check out that video here.

There's always something new to check out in our VOD section (Video on Demand). The latest movie added is Bounty Hunter by ButchBear (profile): "You can run, but you can't hide from this big-dicked 'Bounty Hunter' - and he's no Dog. It has been awhile since we featured a TubeBearer (those with a TubeBear profile). The plan was to feature one new TubeBear profile a week, but that plan seem to go astray, and it's actually been quite some time since a profile has been featured. So instead of just featuring one this time, how about checking out a few... this way we can kind of catch up... or something.

Let's start off with Earl, aka ArtsyGuy. A handsome Daddy from the USA who does some fun Bearish drawings. He also does other types (non-Bearish), which you can see from his site.

Now head on over to Tim's profile, aka TimCub. Cute... nice smile... and that's Montreal in his main profile photo (my hometown). No, that is not why I'm featuring TimCub... he is from Austin, TX and he has his own podcast show as well as cool website called Cubs Out Loud (TubeBear profile - articles) ~ and if the Cubs were as cute as Tim, I just might open PlanetCubs some day. He also has a MySpace page.

Third profile to check out ~ Marvin's aka Ursusnoir. From Renton, he has a sool website called Ursus At Large. Marvin runs a podcast as well (here). From his site: "Ursus @ Large is the podcast that follows Marvin on his journey through life as a single Bear in Seattle. Just like life, this podcast doesn't necessarily follow a single theme".

There we have it... now we're a bit more caught up. I will continue to keep an eye out on all those new TubeBear profiles ~ we're up to 7200+ now and counting. From time to time, we will be updating on the newest movies available on TubeBear's new VOD (Video on Demand) ~ vod.tubebear.com.

Now before I mention the new movies, I need to clarify something - TubeBear is a profile site which is for now free. Create a profile, add photos, send RIMs, get connected. All this is still free to join.

Our VOD section is with PPVNetworks, and what they are doing is working with TubeBear... you do not need a profile to view any of the movies but there is a cost. Half of the proceeds goes to them, the other half to us. So whether or not you have a profile, you can still download movies.

Now here's a couple of new movies that are available:

Bear Xing (by CyberBears) ~ "Danger, Bear Crossing! Keep your eyes on the road, or who knows what you might see... for one thing, you might see Jake and Chet, out in the woods, doing what Bears do. In this case, that means two versatile men doing each other every which way. Also watch out for joggers, especially furry top jocks like Eric Bear. After a hot sweaty run, he spends the rest of his energy back home with enthusiastic bottom Rick Monroe. Don't forget about the gardeners. KJ Behr, Goatee Dude, and RJ tend the plants in this garden, and you have to watch this scene to see what grows under the care of these three horny Bears. So pay attention, on the road and off. It's hairy out there!".

Bear Minded (by CyberBears) ~ "Got Bear meat on your mind? Then join the crowd, along with these friendly Bear-minded fellows. Kj Behr minds his manners as he takes full advantage of Goatee Dude's friendly advances in the best way possible. And nobody seems to mind. Then Macho Dad and Bradley Peters put their minds (and other body parts) together, with a playful attitude that leads to some serious sex. Finally newcomer Ducksick gives a piece of his mind - or at least a piece his piece - to CyberBears star Dean Ferguson. It's every Bear lover's fantasy. Open your mind to some hot Bear action. We'll just see if that's the only thing that opens up".

Here at TubeBear, we're doing our best to figuring out on how to maximize your Bearish video experience while you are on the net. We are now offering Video on Demand (VOD). The company we are working with is the well known PPVNetwork who have been around for a very long time, however we are one of the very 1st websites they created a customized webspace for, so our VOD page is looking super snazzy.

The VOD is a pay section - part of it goes to PPVNetwork and part of it goes to TubeBear. The selection of videos is excellent and expansive, with movies from BearFilms (articles), ButchBear (articles), CyberBears (articles), XXXL Productions, to name a few.

They are offering 'superior streaming' - probably the best Flash player available. They have spent over a year in developing it. It's intelligent, in that it chooses the correct bit rate to send (out of 5 possible speeds), and it also has DRM/copy-protection.

And lastly, here on TubeBear we will be offering a ton of previews for you, so you can always take a look at the good before buying.

Check out the new customized TubeBear Video on Demand section at vod.tubebear.com. It's filled with tons of great looking Bearish and Chubby guys.

It's easier than ever to get your webcam up and streaming on TubeBear. First... login (you need to join)... make sure to have a main photo as well as filling in the required fields (date of birth, email, country, etc.)... ok you're logged on... then go to your Broadcast & Record Videos page... yes click that link if you are logged in right now... in the top box, click OK and if your webcam is setup properly, you are now broadcasting.

To see who else is webcamming, click on the Live Streaming link. From there you will see a list of guys who have their cams on. Enjoy. Any questions, contact either Forrest (TubeBear profile), AdminBear (TubeBear profile), and Roger for French (TubeBear profile).

Here's a follow up from the live broadcast show that we featured here on TubeBear over the weekend. The show involved Nard (TubeBear profile) of BearPodCast, along with his buddy Ray aka HouBearDad (TubeBear profile). They were doing their show live from Texas Bear Round Up ~ click here to listen to that podcast. Well we were able to stream half of the show but the hotel in which they were staying was having major packet loss - which means the hotel kept losing the connection, so about midway we were no longer able to broadcast. Nevertheless, we are hoping to do this again in May with BearWatch (article) which will be taking place in Galveston, TX from May 16th thru the 18th. Nard is going to try and broadcast again, so let's hope there won't be any packet losses from their host hotel.

Also - if you have an event and you would like to broadcast, then make sure to contact us. We can help you set up your own live feed from your event, and what's even greater is that we can have it set up from your website as well. So not only will you be broadcasting from TubeBear but you will also be streaming from your homepage. Sounds like fun? This week TubeBear is proud to feature OsoVision (here's his TubeBear profile). His name is Pepe Devesa, he's 47 years old, he's from Spain and as he states in his profile, he digs exclusively strong, stocky bulky guys who can be overweight, so thin guys, runners and swimmers please refrain in trying to hook up with him, even though OsoVision is a very good looking Bear himself.

Now if you head on over to OsoVision's MySpace page, and you check out his pics section (you need to login), you will discover that Pepe is also an excellent drawer. His stuff is pretty incredible.

So make sure to say hello to Pepe, send him a little note letting him know he's cute, you think his drawings are great, or just leave a little comment in his guestbook. It's a long title for this article but that's because there's a lot of stuff happening. Here's the lowdown: 1st off - Cirque Des Soleil (Circus of the Bears) is happening this upcoming weekend and it's this year's theme for the Texas Bear Round Up. This event is hosted by the Dallas Bears and it all takes place in Dallas, TX from March 20th thru the 23rd.

2ndly - Nard (TubeBear profile) of BearPodCast, along with his buddy Ray aka HouBearDad (TubeBear profile) - are going to do their podcast show at the event. This time, they are going live, which brings me to number 3.

3rdly - yes... live... this is going to be the 1st time that a Bear event will be broadcasted live on the net. Last week Nard, Ray and TubeBear did some tests and the results were positive (save a few audio glitches). It was so succesful that Nard posted the show (BearPodCast 191).

which brings me #4:

4thly - if you have a Bear event and you wish to broadcast some of it live, then we can do this on TubeBear. What's great is that not only do we broadcast here in on our site, but we can also set it up and broadcast it on your site as well, at the same time... live. This is great - it's a simple yet new technology and TubeBear is officially the 1st Bear site to offer this. So contact us (email - form) and let us know about your event and we will start setting things up in order to have your run presented live on the net.

This week we would really like to feature Tom aka OHBeary ~ here's his TubeBear profile. Now Tom is this super cute Bear from Ohio and, as his profile states, he's a "Partnered chubby hairy techie Bear living in NE Ohio looking for pals and chat buddies".

Tom runs a blog called Jokie's Cafe which is a "collection of unimportant, mostly uninteresting and irreverent, thoughts, opinions, rants and raves on his life, our culture and society". Now Tom is also a chef, and he runs this excellent site called Bearly Edible which is "a recipe and entertaining blog for Bears and their admirers. We invite members of our community to stop by and visit. We have recipes, food and entertaining tips and other topics of interest to the domestic Bear in all of us.

If you are a Bear cook, we would love to have you join our panel of Bear bloggers. You can submit your favorite recipes and cooking news to the blog. We also host a weekly recipe challenge where cooks are encouraged to submit a recipe. So, join this new Bear community and widen your recipe repertoire at the same time. This is a test, simply a test... do they still have those emergency broadcast tests on TV...? I don't know, I haven't watched TV in a bear's age... however tonight, around 8:30 CST (that's 9:30 EST, which would mean around 3:30AM in Croatia... I have no clue what time it will be in Japan)... Nard (TubeBear profile) of BearPodCast with his buddy Ray will be broadcasting live... here on TubeBear as well as from the main page of his website.

What's going on is this: here at TubeBear we are now offering guys with websites to come and broadcast their shows - however what's very cool about this is that you will be able to see the show both from TubeBear as well as from the broadcaster's site.

It's simple enough to setup... so if you are interested in broadcasting a show, let us know (email - contact form). This is super fun since you will be broadcasting both from your very own site as well as on TubeBear, at the same, live... get kinky...!

Every now and then TubeBear likes to feature a profile. This time it's an extremely cute Italian by the name of GiGi aka GiGiBear5 ~ profile is here. He's a very tall handsome hunk - 6'4'' and weighs in at 300lbs. He's a big Bear who likes big Bears. He has a partner so he's not looking for anyone special, just to meet some friends.

To get to know him a bit better, check out his webpage GiGiBear5.com. From there you can take a look at his galleries so you'll see some more pics of this husky man, and you can also check out one of his hobbies which is he likes to draw pics of Bearish men.

TubeBear is the 1st Bear site to ever say that it has rimmed you. That's right - no other Bear site on the planet can say that. Rimming is fun and easy. All you need is a tongue, a buddy and a webcam, that's it. What the hell am I talking about...? RIMs are the newest addition to TubeBear - it stands for 'Recorded Instant Messages'. Everyone knows what IMs are - Instant Messages. IMs can be found on all the Bear profile sites. But none of them offer RIMs.

In order to explain RIMs better, we made a video that explains to you on how to do it. You can see the video either by checking out TubeBear's Newsletter #3 (subscribe), or check out Forrest's TubeBear profile - or just click here to simply see it (or right click to save).

There is so much going on over at TubeBear, I don't know where to start... ok I do know where to start - read this.

First off - make a regular profile (join), add tons of pictures (of yourself), a bit of description (who you are, what you like) and then you will be able to see everyone else's profile. We have now past 5000 profiles. You will also be able to see all the photos in everyone else's galleries.

Something new and fun here on TubeBear, all you need is a webcam. Ok... here goes:

1st - Join TubeBear... it's free... and simple... done...? OK!

2nd - Login, go to 'Manage Profile'. In the list you will see 'My Webcam' - click on Broadcast And Record Videos (or just click that link if you are already logged in to TubeBear).

3rd - You will see 2 boxes. One says "Broadcast Your WebCam" and 2nd "Record Video Messages". For this article, concentrate on the 2nd box. Click ALLOW and if your webcam is hooked up properly, you should see yourself.

4th - Record - hit REC - once done... hit the button again - STOP. Then SAVE. On the right you will see "refresh the page". Click that and at the bottom you will see your video message you've just recorded.

5th - SHARE - hit the share button. You will see a list of your buddies (these are guys that you added to your buddy list - if you don't have any buddies it's time to start making some - browse profiles and on the top of guy's pages, you will see "ADD to Friend List"... once you have added a few friends, you can send them Recorded messages rather than typed messages.

It's as simple as that. Send messages to your buddies and wait for their reply. They will definitely get a kick out of seeing you rather than just seeing your typed messages.

COMING SOON - you will be able to record and store messages on your profile. These can be considered 'Welcome' messages or 'About Me' messages. You can even announce upcoming events, or direct guys to your own personal website. For musicians, mention where we can pick up your music (even play us a song). Merchants, show us your wares. Having recorded messages in your profile will be the next best thing when it comes to having your profile on the net.

Give us a bit of time and this option will soon be available, for now, start making some buddies and start sending your in-person messages.

It's time to make plans for a very exciting cruise which is being hosted by the Bearcelona Bears of Spain. It's aptly called Bearcelona Cruise ~ this will all be taking place from July 5th thru the 13th.

The following is from their site: "Bearcelona Cruise was born when we saw that largest 'all gay' cruise in Europe was going to leave from our city, and we wanted to offer our collaboration. We would like to involve as many guys from Bear community as possible. 3200 guest, 9 days, 8 nights, 7 cities.
