My apologies for not posting this news article before the vernissage, nevertheless the show is still up for another couple of months. Also make sure to visit his site and take a peek at this man's genius when it comes to drawing Bears.

Awhile back, I posted an article about a Turkish Bear site entitled İçimdeki Ayı, stating I really wasn't sure on how to pronounce the name of this fine site. Well a year later and my Turkish is still no better, however the fine gents who run İçimdeki Ayı inform me that they have changed the layout to their very cool site. Also, check out another site they are working on - Who is this Bear.

When I first heard of Tweeter, it didn't impress me much. Then when I heard stars use it, it still didn't impress me much. But when I saw this video that Danny DeVito Tweets his Troll Feet... well.. that brought Tweeter to a whole new dimension. I wonder just how many other people are tweeting body parts? Just remember, if you Tweet that you're leaving the house, you might see your Tweet show up on 'Please Rob Me (website - article).

My initial goal was to have THC 'The Horsemen Chronicles' Episode II ready and for viewing for early January. Well that deadline flew right by. Then I thought, ok, I could have this ready for February 1st. That date blew right by me as well. So I said - Ok - I will have it ready for Valentine's Day. Well, VD came and went, and I'm still not finished Episode II which is entitled 'In The Forest'.
Episode II has turned out a bit longer as well as a bit more complex than I had previously planned. Also - Episode I - Extortion ~ Bear Style - was only shy 12 minutes long. So far, Episode II is twice as long (25 minutes), and I'm still not done.
So what is my 'deadline' goal now? March 1st...? I'd love to say that, but that is only 6 days away. But I will definitely try to have it online by the beginning of March.

This is for all those in the southeastern part of Europe (Balkan): there is a new regional party that is being planned in Zagreb, Croatia and it's a called Snax which will be happening on March 6th, then every first Saturday of the month. Cruising, military, leather, rubber... and Bear!
This is a reminder to all those who have events and Bear runs: make sure to send in your news articles to PlanetBears (email - form) if you wish to see your event mentioned on the coolest Bear site in the universe (modesty gets us nowhere). Joking aside - just send us your Bear news ~ we'll post it.

(This is not Bear related) The site is called PleaseRobMe and what this page does is check to see who's Tweeting their whereabouts. Some people tweet their home address, which isn't very smart, while others Tweet that they are away from their home 'I'm at McDonald's', which allows others who are following your Tweet to realize you are not home, making you a target to be burglarized.
From this article: "The developer noted that he does not intend the site to become an aid to burglars. "The website is not a tool for burglary. The point we're getting at is that not long ago it was questionable to share your full name on the internet. We've gone past that point by 1000 miles", he remarked, adding it would be 'very difficult' in practice to commit a burglary solely with the information provided".

Do you remember the part in 'It's A Wonderful Life' when young George is able to stop a druggist from giving the wrong prescription...? This is something I'm sure Eric Cropp would have wished happened to him. Eric Cropp was the supervising pharmacist when a technician under his watch gave a child the wrong cancer medication which killed the child, and Eric is serving 6 months for involuntary manslaughter. See him speak in this CNN video.

Last week Kevin Smith was kicked off a plane for being too fat. This is what he Tweeted and the response he got was huge. It's been all over the news since. Now there's allegations that Kevin Smith did this as a way to promote his new movie which is due out soon. They state that rather go to Southwest - the company - to complain, he went straight to Tweeter which stirred up the controversy.
If you're a fan of Kevin Smith, then check out his 25 part podcast on YouTube. Seems Kevin has a lot to say about a lot of stuff. Also (in that podcast), it looks like Kevin Smith is bringing back a punkish hairdo that Billy Idol used to wear back shortly after his Generation X days in the late 70s. Rock on with the funky doo, Kevin!
