Over at TubeBear, we need a Flash guru.

We are working real hard on TubeBear Version 2.o which is a completely new site, however right now we really need a Flash expert on our team. If you're interested, simply send me (Bob - profile) an email and we will go from there, as in what we're looking for and compensation for your expertise.

The seriously cute couple - Steve and Hugo - aka Dungeon Bears have a new movie up. Guess who's back? 'The Plumber's Crack is Back'. Here's a synopsis: "Now that his favorite plumber is back working in the basement, Steve wants to make sure he hangs around for a while afterward. But how to do it without being too obvious? Coffee? Sports talk? 'Oh look, there's another leak!' The plan comes off perfectly, and so does the plumber".

Cute French artist Christophe Jannin (website - blog - TubeBear) is preparing for a new art exhibition which will be showcasing his incredible erotic Bear artwork. His show will be taking place at Dot's Bar in Auckland, New Zealand starting from February 11th (vernissage) thru the 25th. The Southern Bears present Atlanta Bear Fest which will be taking place during the 4th of July weekend in Atlanta, Georgia from July 2nd thru the 5th. This year's theme is called 'Lock Down'. From their site, they state that "after our highly successful run last year, we are planning an even bigger and better event this year at the same host hotel we used last year". Make your plans early as ABF will be good hot Bearish fun. More details to follow on their site.

I really don't know respected actors just all of a sudden lose all sense of reality, which seemed to happen to the 78 year old Rip Torn who was found drunk and toting a gun in a bank in Connecticut, apparently to rob it: "Torn was charged in court with burglary, criminal trespass and weapons offenses but did not enter a plea. He was released on $100,000 bond, a court spokeswoman said" (article). Rip was then caught on video after.

This is not 'Bear' related news, it's just wild enough to share: the guy's name is Douglas Hines and he made a $7,000 talking doll named Roxxxy" "Roxxxy's body is made from hypoallergenic silicone molded over a rigid skeleton. While she cannot move on her own but can be contorted into almost any natural position" and "She uses voice-recognition and speech-synthesis software to answer questions and carry on conversations" (article ~ another article - video).

I bet you some bubble gum that you probably don't recognize who's in that thumbnail photo, and maybe even the name 'Richard Bulger' might not even be familiar to you. Well Richard Bulger is the founder of BEAR Magazine (website - articles - TubeBear), along with Chris Nelson, back in 1987 as a photo-copied flyer which they published from their apartment (Wiki).

These photos of Richard and company that I stumbled upon were taken back in 1991 so I'm sure Richard looks a touch different today, 19 years later, however these are the only photos I've ever seen of the originator of BEAR mag and I thought I'd share the link with you.
